AIRFOIL TIP ARRANGEMENT FOR GAS TURBINE ENGINE
An airfoil for a gas turbine engine according to an example of the present disclosure includes a platform section and an airfoil section extending in a spanwise direction from the platform section to a tip portion establishing a tip. The airfoil section has an external wall defining pressure and suction sides extending in a chordwise direction between a leading edge and a trailing edge, and the pressure and suction sides are spaced apart in a thickness direction between the leading edge and the trailing edge. The tip portion includes a tip pocket and a tip shelf extending inwardly from the tip. The tip pocket and tip shelf are on opposite sides of a shelf wall.

A fan blade (1) has a front inflow edge (2) and a rear outflow edge (3). The fan blade (1) has an at least partially wavy inflow edge (4). The wavy inflow edge (4) forms a wave (W) with a specific three-dimensional waveform.
TURBINE AND TURBOCHARGER INCLUDING THE TURBINE
A turbine includes: a rotatable impeller with a hub provided with a plurality of rotor blades; and a tubular member in which a diffuser located downstream of the impeller is formed. On an inner surface of the tubular member, a plurality of projections projecting radially inward of the tubular member are formed at positions closer to an inlet end of the tubular member than an outlet end of the tubular member. The plurality of projections are arranged in a circumferential direction of the inner surface so as to leave a space between adjacent projections.

Liner for a combustor of a gas turbine engine with metallic corrugated member
A liner for a combustor includes a support member, an intermediate member, and a liner member. The intermediate member is positioned intermediate the support member and the liner member and has a plurality of protrusions and a plurality of recesses. The support member is coupled to the intermediate member at a tangent of each protrusion. Additionally, the liner member is comprised of a ceramic matrix composite material. The liner member is coupled to the intermediate member at a tangent of each recess.
