A hydraulic device having: a plurality of main piston-cylinder arrangements, each of the respective pistons having a fixed stroke length and configured for axial reciprocation within their respective cylinder; a plurality of flow control valves for switching between a lockdown state and an unlocked state of one or more of the plurality of main piston cylinder arrangements during operation of the hydraulic device; and one or more control valves for directing the plurality of flow control valves between their respective unlock and lock positions.
SOFT PNEUMATIC MODULE AND SOFT PNEUMATIC GRIPPER
A soft pneumatic module includes a first frame defining a first path portion, a second frame opposite to the first frame and defining a second path portion, a retainer connected to the first frame and the second frame, a plurality of first crease parts disposed along a circumference of the first frame at two sides of the retainer and obliquely disposed inward from the first frame, and a plurality of second crease parts connected to the plurality of first crease parts and the second frame, disposed along a circumference of the second frame at the two sides of the retainer, and expanded along with the plurality of first crease parts as a fluid is injected into the soft pneumatic module.
MAGNETORHEOLOGICAL FLUID VALVE AND VARIABLE MANUFACTURING MOLD
A variable mold includes a plurality of hydraulic pin systems. Each pin system includes a valve in fluid communication with a supply of pressurized fluid, a tubing in fluid communication with the valve, and a pin coupled to the tubing. The pin is configured to extend from the tubing in response to the supply of the fluid through the valve to the tubing. A longitudinal axis of each pin is mutually parallel and arranged in a two-dimensional array. The variable mold includes a controller operably coupled to the valves that can control the displacement of each pin. The variable mold may include a pin displacement detector configured to detect a displacement of each pin. The pin displacement detector is operably coupled to the controller. The controller can close each valve in response to the pin displacement detector detecting that the pin corresponding to the valve extends a predetermined distance.
MEDICAL-ROBOT PNEUMATIC DRIVE MECHANISM
A pneumatic drive for a medical robot includes a manifold having cylinders extending in a first direction, and respective rods corresponding to the cylinders, the rods extending on one side of the cylinders in the first direction. The manifold includes air supply ports that feed the cylinders with air for moving the respective rods forward and backward. The air supply ports are provided on another side of the manifold in the first direction.
APPARATUS FOR APPLYING VISCOUS MATERIAL
An apparatus for applying viscous material to workpieces has at least two material outlets. A needle valve is assigned to each material outlet, the valve needle of which being able to close the respective material outlet on a valve seat. Each valve needle is assigned a cylinder, in the piston chamber of which a piston is movable by pressure applied by a fluid, and which cylinder has a piston rod for impingement on the respective valve needle, the piston rod being connected to the piston, being guided out of the piston chamber on an end face facing the valve seats and extending longitudinally. The cylinders are arranged one behind the other longitudinally and the piston rod of at least one of the cylinders is guided in a sealed manner through the piston chamber of at least one further cylinder arranged closer on the valve seats.
Solar surface steering system and hydraulic actuator
The present disclosure provides a solar surface steering system including a solar surface; a base mount; a main body having a first rotary vane actuator configured to rotate the solar surface via a first rotating joint, and a second rotary vane actuator configured to rotate the main body of the hydraulic actuator via a second rotating joint connected to the base mount; a fluid mover operably connected to each of the first and second rotary vane actuators and configured to actuate the first and second rotary vane actuators; and a control system electrically connected to the fluid mover and configured to control operations of the fluid mover, wherein the first and second rotary vane actuators are affixed to each other and positioned such that a rotational axis of the first rotary vane actuator is orthogonal to a rotational axis of the second rotary vane actuator.
CYLINDER ON DEMAND HYDRAULIC DEVICE
A hydraulic device having: a plurality of main piston-cylinder arrangements, each of the respective pistons having a fixed stroke length and configured for axial reciprocation within their respective cylinder; a plurality of flow control valves for switching between a lockdown state and an unlocked state of one or more of the plurality of main piston cylinder arrangements during operation of the hydraulic device; and one or more control valves for directing the plurality of flow control valves between their respective unlock and lock positions.
PNEUMATIC ACTUATOR
The first piston of the first cylinder and the second piston of the second cylinder are connected so that the first piston and the second piston have the same displacement. The cross-section area of one side of the first piston is the smallest, and the cross-section area on the same side of the second piston is the third smallest. The two air chambers of the first cylinder and the two air chambers of the second cylinder are referred to as a first air chamber, a second air chamber, a third air chamber, and the fourth air in ascending order in the cross-section area. The control valve connects the air pressure source to the first air chamber, connects the second air chamber to the third air chamber, and opens the fourth air chamber to the atmosphere in the forward stroke.
HYDRAULIC FORCE FIGHT MITIGATION
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, a method that includes controlling, by a first fluid valve, a first fluid flow to a first fluid actuator, actuating, by the first fluid actuator, an output, controlling, by a second fluid valve, a second fluid flow to a second fluid actuator, and actuating, by the second fluid actuator, the output.
