SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SOLENOID VALVE OPTIMIZATION AND MEASUREMENT OF RESPONSE DETERIORATION
A system and method for detecting faults and optimiz-ing power usage of solenoid valves. The method includes obtaining a current signature of the solenoid coil, using a dedicated circuit to detect various features and using a pulse width modulation controller optimize the power output of the system. Additionally, using machine learning, the system can be optimized using data from the dedicated circuit.
Servo valve unit and apparatus
A servo valve for precisely controlling a position of a pneumatic cylinder does not require a servo amplifier and a small sized and/or high durability servo valve unit. The servo valve comprises a unit body having first and second portions, first and second valve portions, first and second seal members that open and close the first and second valve portions, respectively, first and second drive mechanisms that drive first and second seal members by first and second electric pulses, respectively, a supply flow path between the first end and first valve, an exhaust flow path between the second end and second valve, a common flow path connected to the supply and exhaust flow paths via first and second valve portions, and a drive flow path connected to the pneumatic actuator. First and second drive mechanisms are arranged in a drive mechanism arrangement portion located between first and second end portions.
Redundant electrohydraulic positioning control system
The subject matter of this specification can be embodied in, among other things, an electrohydraulic positioning control system that includes a shuttle valve configured to direct fluid flow between a selectable one of a first fluid port and a second fluid port, and a fluid outlet configured to be fluidically connected to a fluid actuator, a first servo valve controllable to selectably permit and block flow between the first fluid port, a fluid source, and a fluid drain, a second servo valve controllable to selectably permit and block flow between the second fluid port, the fluid source, and the fluid drain, a first servo controller configured to provide a first health signal and control the first servo valve based on a second health signal, and a second servo controller configured to provide the second health signal and control the second servo valve based on the first health signal.
Material moving machines and pilot hydraulic switching systems for use therein
In accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure, a material moving machine comprises a pilot hydraulic switching system. The pilot hydraulic switching system comprises a control unit, a first directional valve, and a second directional valve. The control unit is configured to operate the first and second directional valves to shift a variable position actuator valve between a static state, a retract state, and an extend state. The actuator valve comprises a first and second control element. In the retract and extend states, the first and second directional valves control fluid flow to the variable position actuator valve with a positive net pressure on either the first or second control elements and a negative net pressure on the other control element to move the material moving implement. In the static state, the first and second directional valves control fluid flow equally on the first and second control elements.
Feature set and methods for a digital positioner
A digital positioner for a valve includes a valve controller configured to obtain a set point value for a valve travel of a valve, and generate a pulse-width modulated current signal based on the set point value. The digital positioner also includes a current-to-pressure converter configured to receive the pulse-width modulated current signal from the valve controller, convert the pulse-width modulated current signal to a pulse-width modulated pressure signal, and provide the pulse-width modulated pressure signal to a pneumatic actuator in the valve to adjust a position of the valve.
Hydraulic arrangement for supplying a consumer
A hydraulic arrangement for supplying a consumer or actuator includes a first supply device that has at least one pump with an adjustable delivery volume. The hydraulic arrangement further includes a second supply device that is connected in parallel to the first supply device. The second supply device includes a loadable accumulator and a digitally regulated switching valve arrangement.
Pulse controlled linear actuator
Pulse controlled linear actuator comprising a working cylinder (9) for receiving a medium introduced through a valve system by a compressor/pump, a piston, the shank (13) of which represents the output of the actuator. It also comprises a central solenoid (1) and alternately moved iron cores (3). The central solenoid (1) and the iron cores (3) are arranged between upper and lower solenoids (2). The iron cores (3) have two separate medium spaces (14, 15). The first medium space (14) leads into the portion of the working cylinder (9) above the piston (10) and under the piston (10). The second medium space (15) is separated from the space between the iron cores (3) by the iron cores (3) and leads into the portion of the working cylinder (9) above the piston (10) and under the piston (10). The valves (4, 8) are counter-phase or phase pulse controlled.
Oil pressure control device
An oil pressure control device controls a supply pressure of oil supplied to an oil pressure chamber of a friction element having a first engagement board and a second engagement board engaged with or disengaged from each other between a non-engagement state and a non-sliding engagement state via a sliding engagement state. The oil pressure control device includes: an electromagnetic valve that controls the supply pressure using a spool which reciprocates according to an energizing amount; and a control part that defines a first oscillatory wave part in which the energizing amount is controlled by making a first waveform with a first frequency to superimpose on a second waveform with a second frequency higher than the first frequency during a first period while the sliding engagement state and an instruction value of the supply pressure are kept constant.
Control system for an adjustable deflector
A control system and method for controlling the positioning of an adjustable deflector plate employed in a harvesting combine to adjust a side-to-side flow of crop residue to spreaders associated with the combine and the distribution thereby. The deflector plate is operably extendable into the flow of crop residue to redirect crop residue impinging the deflector plate. The deflector plate is adjusted based upon a comparison between the open/closed states of valves associated with the control system.
