FAILURE DETECTION APPARATUS FOR A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
A failure detection apparatus for a hydraulic system, to a hydraulic, failure detection-capable system, and to a method of operating a failure detection apparatus. The failure detection apparatus comprises a monitoring and failure detection unit that receives first and second pressure values from first and second pressure sensors and comprises a failure detection unit that detects a failure of at least one hydraulically operated device when a 2-tuple of a plurality of 2-tuples is within a first and outside a second predetermined tolerance range of relative pressure values, and wherein the failure detection unit 260 detects a failure of the pump when a 2-tuple of the plurality of 2-tuples is outside the first predetermined tolerance range of relative pressure values.
Mower hydraulic leak detection system
A hydraulic leak detection system includes a leak detection switch responsive to a level of hydraulic fluid in a tank used by a hydraulic mowing circuit and a lift and lower circuit of a grass mowing machine. The system includes a controller that activates a warning indicator if the leak detection switch indicates the level of hydraulic fluid in the tank is low, but allows the hydraulic mowing circuit and the lift and lower circuit to continue operating until the lift and lower circuit reaches a fully raised position. A solenoid valve may control the level of hydraulic fluid in the tank based on temperature of the hydraulic fluid.
PILOT CHECK VALVE
[Solution] A pilot check valve includes a first body that has input and output ports, a main path 13 that is in communication these ports, and a check valve element that allows a flow of a pressure fluid from the input port toward the output port. The valve element blocks or allows a flow toward the input port side by supply or discharge of a pilot fluid and has a residual pressure exhaust path connected between the main path and an exhaust hole, a seal member that is provided in the exhaust path, and a push rod that moves the check valve element to a position where a flow of a pressure fluid toward the input port side in the main path is allowed and moves the seal member to a position where a flow toward the exhaust hole is allowed.
Pressure compensation device designed for underwater applications
A system filled with a fluid, designed for underwater applications, in which the interior of a housing and/or tank forms a fluid region which is sealed with respect to the surrounding seawater region, includes at least one hydraulic pressure compensation device, which at least raises the pressure level of the fluid region to the ambient pressure prevailing in the seawater region. The pressure compensation device is constructed in two stages in such a way that at least one store having a flexible wall region and at least one piston store having a displaceable piston are arranged in series. The use of the pressure compensation device to pressurize at least one housing filled with fluid for a hydraulic actuating shaft is also proposed.
WORK MACHINE
The present invention provides a work machine including a steering device that is very responsive to switching operations. The work machine includes: a proportional solenoid valve for outputting a first pilot pressure oil with a pressure responding to a steering signal; a solenoid valve for outputting a second pilot pressure oil with a predetermined pressure while the steering signal is outputted from the steering device; a switching valve capable of switching to a first state of outputting the first pilot pressure oil to a directional control valve and a second state of outputting the second pilot pressure oil to the directional control valve, while the first pilot pressure oil is outputted from the proportional solenoid valve and the second pilot pressure oil is outputted from the solenoid valve in parallel; and a controller to switch the switching valve from the first state to the second state in a case where a malfunction is detected in a main circuit ranging from the steering device to the directional control valve via the proportional solenoid valve and the switching valve of the first state.
Spring return actuator
Aspects of embodiments of the invention relate to a spring-return actuator comprising a first piston movable between a first and a second position by pressurized fluid to move a load; a safety system comprising a second piston movable by the pressurized fluid to arm the safety system and which returns the first piston from the second position to the first position when de-energizing the 3/2 pilot valve or when the pressure of the pressurized fluid drops below a safety pressure threshold; and a differential fluid channel for providing the pressurized fluid and configured so that the first piston while working to move the load remains substantially disengaged from the safety system being armed.

Manual override assembly
A manual override assembly for a hydraulic power source operates to override an actuator of a hydraulic power source. The assembly includes a lever arm and connecting rods. The lever arm pivotally moves relative to a valve body of the hydraulic power source. The lever arm is connected to valve spools via the connecting rods, respectively. Each spool has a bore with an off-set opening for inserting one end of the connecting rod.
Method for monitoring the condition of a hydraulic system of a metal forming plant and condition-monitoring device
A method for monitoring the condition of a hydraulic system of a metal forming plant is presented. The hydraulic system is coupled to or provided with a pump drivable by a drive motor for providing a working fluid and with a heat exchanger. With the presented method, the following steps are initiated or carried out by a condition-monitoring device during the operation of the hydraulic system: Determining a current cooling power of the heat exchanger; determining a current conveying power of the pump; and determining a current maintenance urgency and/or a current ageing condition of the hydraulic system on the basis of the determined current cooling power of the heat exchanger. Furthermore, a condition-monitoring device designed to carry out the presented method is presented.
