QUICK-RELEASE FASTENER STRUCTURE
A quick-release fastener structure includes a body portion and an engaging portion. The body portion is fitted to a first object. The engaging portion is movably fitted to the body portion. The engaging portion has a head portion, a bar portion with an end connected to the head portion, and an engaging-connecting portion disposed at another end of the bar portion. The engaging-connecting portion is insertedly engaged with or separated from a second object. Therefore, the quick-release fastener structure operates by fitting the body portion to the first object and allowing the engaging portion to be engagedly connected to the second object or removed from the second object, such that the at least two objects are coupled together and separated repeatedly and quickly.
MECHANICAL SHOCK RESISTANT MOTORIZED DRIVE ASSEMBLY
An electronic device can include a motor that rotates a shaft that is coupled to a gear. A belt or a chain can be placed in contract with the gear and other rotational devices. For optimum performance, the chain or chain should be adjusted to an optimum tension. The tension can be adjusted by moving the motor and securing the motor in a position the provided the optimum tension. Alternatively, the motor can be in a fixed rigid position and an idler pulley in contact with the belt or chain can be positioned to provide the optimum tension.

TOOLLESS ALIGNMENT AND SECURING OF SENSOR OR OTHER DEVICE
Mounting apparatus is used for supporting an accessory device, e.g., a sensor, in a manner permitting adjustment. An accessory device-receiving mount is fixable to the accessory device and has at least one surface forming a cross-section permitting adjustment in at least one degree of freedom. A clamp ring engages the device-receiving mount at the surface, so that the cross-section permitting adjustment. A clamping mechanism selectively clamps the clamp ring and includes a manually threaded fastener and a lever-operated clamp tightener. The lever-operated clamp tightener acts on the manually threaded fastener to releasably tighten the clamping mechanism beyond that achieved by manually threading the manually threaded fastener, permitting manually threading the clamping arrangement at a maximum tension less than a full tension applied by the lever-operated clamp tightener.
ADJUSTABLE FASTENER
An adjustable locking fastener comprising a post and a lever. The adjustable locking fastener includes a post, a lever and a letoff portion. The adjustable locking fastener may be quickly removed and reattached with minimal effort, and with a constant set point for the attachment.
ATTACHMENT CLAMP
Various apparatuses to attach a first medical device to a second medical device are described that allow the physician to grasp only a single device while the other device remains securely attached to the one being grasped. The apparatuses, once they are attached to the first medical device, are designed to be easily and quickly attached and detached to a second medical device, normally only requiring the use of one hand. Furthermore, the apparatuses oftentimes include a base that can easily couple and decouple from the portion that is attached to the second medical device so that if the need arises to separately use the second medical device, it can be decoupled from the first medical device without completely removing the apparatus from the second medical device.
A connection system, a method for connecting two modules, and a flood barrier module system
A connection system for connecting at least one membrane to a rigid support, the connection system comprising: at least one elongated clamping profile, at least one locking unit configured for attaching the at least one elongated clamping profile to the rigid support, thereby clamping a portion of the at least one membrane between the at least one elongated clamping profile and the rigid support so as to achieve a sealing between the at least one membrane and the rigid support, wherein the at least one locking unit is a discrete state locking unit movable between several predetermined locking unit states, each locking unit state corresponding to a connection system stage, the predetermined locking unit states including: an Open locking unit state in which the locking unit is configured to provide a gap between the elongated clamping profile and the rigid support, allowing the portion of the at least one membrane to be inserted between the elongated clamping profile and the rigid support, the Open locking unit state corresponding to an Open stage of the connection system, a Closed locking unit state in which the locking unit is configured to press the clamping profile toward the rigid support so that the at least one membrane is clamped between the elongated clamping profile and the rigid support, the Closed locking unit state corresponding to a Closed stage of the connection system in which a sealing is provided between the at least one membrane and the rigid support, and an Intermediate locking unit state between the Open locking unit state and the Closed locking unit state, in which Intermediate state the at least one membrane is allowed to slide along the elongated clamping profile without disengaging therefrom, corresponding to an Adjustment stage of the connection system.
Clamp with improved retaining structure
An apparatus for engaging equipment to a support includes a member defining a first channel having a first side wall capable of lateral movement with respect to a second side wall suitable for engaging the equipment therebetween. The member defines a pair of surfaces suitable for engaging equipment thereon. A movable member is capable of causing the lateral movement. A substantially compressible member is operably interconnected between the movable member and the first side wall. A pin is selectively raisable with respect to one of the surfaces within a peripheral area defined by the one of the surfaces.
TOOLING BASE
An improved tooling, including: a base housing having an interior and tooling holes, the tooling holes being configured to receive alignment studs attached to a tooling fixture; a first clamping fixture and a second clamping fixture fit inside hollowed regions within the base housing; a shaft having a length and an axis along the length of the shaft, the shaft situated inside the base housing and the shaft having a first threaded region and a second threaded region to connect the first clamping fixture and the second clamping fixture, whereby rotation of the shaft causes the first clamping fixture and the second clamping fixture to move towards and away from each other along the axis of the shaft; each of the first clamping fixture and the second clamping fixture comprising one or more securing mechanisms configured to: engage and disengage the alignment studs based upon rotation of the shaft.
QUICK-RELEASE INTERCONNECT
The quick release interconnect includes a mount member that includes a cleat and a top hanger seat. An attachment member includes a lower jaw that is spring-biased into an open condition that can be secured closed by a cam-lock lever. An upper jaw hanger is also provided to permit the attachment member to be hung on the top hanger seat while the attachment member and object are oriented in place. The upper jaw hanger member is located over the top hanger seat and then the attachment member is rotated in place so the lower jaw is aligned with the cleat. The cam lock lever is rotated to clamp the lower jaw into communication with the cleat portion of the mount member to secure the attachment member securely to the mount member. To release the attachment member, the process is reversed.
