The present patent discloses an expansive fastener, comprising a male buckle and a female buckle, wherein the male buckle comprises a main body, round-head bumps and a front opening, the front opening being located at a front end of the body and being conical, the circular head bumps being located in front of the main body and behind the front opening, a rear end of the main body being connected to a pressing face; and, the female buckle comprises a main body, grooves, an enlarged opening, externally circular barbs and a cone, the enlarged opening being located at the rearmost end of the main body, both the grooves and the cone being located inside the main body, the externally circular barbs being sheathed outside the main body. With the round-head bumps, the detachability is excellent and it is convenient for mounting and replacement.

Assembly nest for a pen injection device with locking function

An assembly nest for transporting a tubular sub assembly of a drug delivery device on an automated production line, in which the tubular sub assembly includes a tubular body and a cap that is wider than the tubular body. The assembly nest includes a base against which a sub assembly of a drug delivery device is mountable to orientate said sub assembly in a predetermined position; and locking mechanism having a resilient member to urge the locking mechanism into one of: an unlocked position, in which a sub assembly of a drug delivery device can be mounted to the base; or a locked position, in which the locking mechanism engages a mounted sub assembly to retain it in its predetermined position on the base.

Machine with sensor units retained by breakaway couplers

A paving machine includes an implement, an elongated structure, a sensor arrangement, and one or more breakaway couplers. The implement modifies a surface during a movement of the paving machine. The elongated structure is coupled to a side portion of the paving machine and extends along a direction of the movement. The sensor arrangement includes sensor units arranged sequentially along the elongated structure. The breakaway couplers correspondingly normally retain the sensor units to the elongated structure. Each breakaway coupler includes a mounting structure and a retainer unit. The mounting structure is secured to one of the elongated structure or a corresponding sensor unit, while the retainer unit retains the other of the elongated structure or the corresponding sensor unit to the mounting structure by a retention force, which is adjustable.

A system and method including a fastener clip including a top portion and a bottom portion. The bottom portion includes a platform, a pair of locking arms and a pair of feet. The pair of locking arms is coupled to the platform via a pair of hinges. The pair of feet is coupled to the locking arms and is being configured to rotate with the locking arms. The feet are configured to be partially inserted into a slot in a doghouse and, based at least on the locking arms being rotated, the feet are configured to rotate into the slot in the doghouse and to couple the bottom portion to the doghouse. The locking arms are configured to be coupled to the platform at the end of the rotation.

Extension adapter of a plug-in coupling and associated production and installation method

An extension adapter of a plug-in coupling, with which a free space between a male coupling element and a female coupling element can be bridged in a connecting manner and which comprises the following features: a male coupling end which can be inserted into the female coupling element, a female coupling end in which the male coupling element can be received and which is connected to the male coupling end via an intermediate piece, and a locking element which is displaceably arranged in the axial direction of the extension adapter and with which, in a locking position surrounding the female coupling end, the release of a male coupling element from the female coupling end is prevented.

A fastening device includes a male member having a head portion at a proximal end along a first central axis, an impact retention stem protruding from the head portion along the first central axis towards a distal end, and a tooth portion. A female member, having a first cavity, extends along a second central axis to guidingly receive the impact retention stem, a periphery of the female member having a lip portion extending towards the second central axis and adapted to lockably engage with the tooth portion, and a second cavity, extending perpendicular to and intersecting the second central axis. A locking member is configured to be guidingly received by the second cavity and is adapted to retainingly receive the impact retention stem and provide a biasing force along the first central axis towards the head portion in cooperation with the tooth portion when operably engaged with the lip portion.

Clip assembly for holding a component during a vehicle assembly/disassembly process

A clip assembly for holding a component during a vehicle assembly/disassembly process. This clip assembly includes a clip structure coupled to one of a component and an associated structure of a vehicle and a corresponding receptacle structure manufactured into the other of the component and the associated structure of the vehicle. When the clip structure is engaged with the corresponding receptacle structure, the clip assembly holds the component with respect to the associated structure along three (orthogonal) axes, preventing translation of the component with respect to the associated structure in one or both directions along each axis. Along one of the axes, the engagement of the clip structure with the corresponding receptacle structure can be overcome by the application of a sufficiently high force to the component, thereby disengaging the clip structure from the corresponding receptacle structure and the component from the associated structure.
