DOUBLE ECCENTRIC TYPE CONNECTION ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A RING MADE OF DEFORMABLE MATERIAL FOR A CONNECTION BETWEEN TWO STRUCTURES OF AN AIRCRAFT, AND AIRCRAFT COMPRISING SUCH AN ASSEMBLY
A connection assembly between two structures, the assembly including an assembly of two eccentric rings, one of which, the external ring, is fitted on the other, being formed as an insert, a bore of the internal ring being configured to fix to one of the structures using a fixing element, and the external ring being accommodated and retained in a through-opening of the other structure, at least one of the eccentric rings being made from a deformable material in order to at least compensate for a play when it is compressed by two retention and compression elements during assembly. Advantageously, it is thus possible to benefit from a mechanical play which facilitates the assembly and to eliminate this play during a tightening operation of the fixing element in order to improve a transfer of loads between the two structures.

A pivoting connection device connecting at least two components and comprising an end fitting having first and second branches, an arm positioned between the first and second branches of the end fitting, a cylindrical axle connecting the end fitting and the arm and having, at one of the ends thereof, a first portion configured to expand radially, a cylindrical rod configured to be screwed into a tapped portion of the cylindrical axle, an insert fitted on the cylindrical rod and movable between a first position, in which the first portion is not expanded, and a second position, in which the first portion is expanded radially, and a nut configured to be screwed on the cylindrical rod to urge the insert into the second position.
FASTENING DEVICE
Disclosed is a device for fastening together two components to be joined, the device including a connection rod including two ends, a first end being fastened to a first component, the second end extending through the second component, the second end being having a bearing surface. This device is characterized in that it includes a clamping wedge which is associated with the second component and which is movable relative to the second component along an axis which is not parallel with the longitudinal axis of the connection rod and which is provided in an inclined plane, the wedge being interposed between the bearing surface of the second end of the connection rod and the surface of the second component so that, during its movement, the wedge, by way of its inclined plane, applies an axial constraint to the connection rod and ensures that the two components are fastened together.
FASTENING DEVICE
Disclosed is a device for fastening together two components to be joined, the device including a connection rod including two ends, a first end being fastened to a first component, the second end extending through the second component, the second end being having a bearing surface. The invention provides a radially expanding fastener/alignment plug assembly for use with a torque power tool, the assembly including: a sleeve member (10), insertable into a hole of an object, having radial expansion elements with inner surface portions which are tapered towards a first end; an expanding member (20), insertable in the sleeve member, having an outer surface portion which is tapered towards a first end, cooperating with the inner tapered surface portions of the radial expansion elements of the sleeve member; and a displacement member (30) formed between a second end of the sleeve member and a second end of the expanding member. Advantageously, the assembly is self-reacting allowing an actuation torque to be applied to and reacted upon to create high levels of pulling and expansion force without the need for an external reaction point.
Apparatus for fastening and/or aligning objects
The invention provides a radially expanding fastener/alignment plug assembly for use with a torque power tool, the assembly including: a sleeve member (10), insertable into a hole of an object, having radial expansion elements with inner surface portions which are tapered towards a first end; an expanding member (20), insertable in the sleeve member, having an outer surface portion which is tapered towards a first end, cooperating with the inner tapered surface portions of the radial expansion elements of the sleeve member; and a displacement member (30) formed between a second end of the sleeve member and a second end of the expanding member. Advantageously, the assembly is self-reacting allowing an actuation torque to be applied to and reacted upon to create high levels of pulling and expansion force without the need for an external reaction point.
Integrated ball screw linear actuator
A linear actuation screw having a first end portion, a second end portion on an opposite side as the first end portion, and a sloping intermediate portion between the first end portion and second end portion. The first end portion has a threaded outer wall having a generally constant first diameter over at least a portion of its length and is configured to advance a nut or a sliding member along at least a portion of the first end portion. The second end portion has a threaded outer wall having a generally constant second diameter that is different from the first diameter and is configured to receive a motor fastening nut around it in order to secure the linear actuation screw to a motor. The sloping intermediate portion includes an outer wall that is generally smooth and continuous over at least a majority of the area of the outer wall.

An expansion bolt comprises a bolt having an end-face anchoring means for the tension-resistant anchoring of the bolt on or in a first assembly part, which bolt has a truncated-cone-shaped cone section and a bolt threaded section in its end section opposite to the anchoring means with a nut screwed thereon, an expansion sleeve having a cylindrical lateral surface and an inner cone contour interacting with the cone section of the bolt, and a clamping device supported on a second assembly part for widening the expansion sleeve and applying an axial clamping force to the assembly parts to be connected together. The cone section of the bolt is tapered in the direction toward its anchoring means and the inner cone contour of the expansion sleeve is tapered in the same direction. The expansion sleeve bears a clamping flange protruding outward in the radial direction on its end opposite to the inner cone contour. The clamping device comprises a clamping ring having an axial passage opening. The expansion sleeve engages through this passage opening, permitting an adjustability of the expansion sleeve in relation to the clamping ring in the axial direction, and protrudes with its clamping flange beyond a peripheral region of the clamping device enclosing the passage opening. The clamping ring also comprises multiple pressure bolts arranged circumferentially distributed, which mesh with their thread in internally threaded holes extending through the clamping ring in the axial direction and act with their bases indirectly or directly against the second assembly part to widen the expansion sleeve and apply an axial clamping force to the assembly parts. An expansion bolt comprises a bolt having an end-face anchoring means for the tension-resistant anchoring of the bolt on or in a first assembly part, which bolt has a truncated-cone-shaped cone section and a bolt threaded section in its end section opposite to the anchoring means with a nut screwed thereon, an expansion sleeve having a cylindrical lateral surface and an inner cone contour interacting with the cone section of the bolt, and a clamping device supported on a second assembly part for widening the expansion sleeve and applying an axial clamping force to the assembly parts to be connected together. The cone section of the bolt is tapered in the direction toward its anchoring means and the inner cone contour of the expansion sleeve is tapered in the same direction. The expansion sleeve bears a clamping flange protruding outward in the radial direction on its end opposite to the inner cone contour. The clamping device comprises a clamping ring having an axial passage opening. RIVETLESS NUT PLATE
A rivetless nut plate for attachment to a panel via a panel bore, having a nut, a washer, and a cage that retains the nut and the washer. The nut plate has a nonactivated state and an activated state. In the activated state a portion of the cage is expanded to grip the panel bore, and the nut has split into two independent sections allowing one section to move throughout a constrained range of motion.
