RACKING CARABINER
A racking carabiner includes a carabiner body with pivot end and nose end portions defining an opening. A gate pivotally connects to the body at the pivot end portion, and pivotable between closed and open positions. A gate retainer can adopt an inoperative condition, in which it presents no restriction to gate movement and an operative position in which it inhibits movement of the gate from a retained-open position towards the closed position. The retainer secures the gate in an open position for as long as it is convenient for the user. The gate clip can be returned to the inoperative condition, whereupon the carabiner gate can be opened and will spring closed as it would in a conventional racking carabiner.
Carabiner
A carabiner includes a retaining frame, wherein each of two opposite sides of the retaining frame has a pivotally connecting portion and an inserting tube, respectively. The inserting tube has an inserted hole inside and is fitted around by a socket portion of a hook-shaped tube of the hook member. A wire rope passes through the hook-shaped tube. A bottom end of the wire rope is inserted into the inserted hole. A nose is engaged with a free end of the hook-shaped tube and a free end of the wire rope. A portion, where the socket portion, the inserting tube, and the wire rope are overlapped, is compressed to fix. The pivotally connecting portion is pivotally connected to a gate member. A top end of the gate member is detachably hooked to the nose. With such design, the weight of the carabiner could be reduced without worsening the safety.
Pin lock carabiner
A spring loaded pin blocks the closed gate's opening path at the location where the gate's opening end engages the carabiner body. The spring serves to normally position the pin so that a portion of the pin protrudes into the opening path of the gate thereby blocking its movement. An open gate pushes the pin aside as it closes. Alternately, the spring can be replaced with a friction member that holds the pin either locked or unlocked when the gate is closed. The gate is unlocked by using a finger to manually push the pin out of the path of the gate end. Although ideally incorporated on wiregate carabiners, the inventive locking mechanism can also be adapted to block the opening end of both straight and bent rigid gate carabiners.
Carabiner
A carabiner includes a swivel loop and a body rotatably coupled to the swivel loop about a rotational axis. The body includes a spine having a spine axis that intersects the rotational axis at an intersection point disposed within the connection between the swivel loop and the body. The carabiner also includes a captive eye formed completely within the spine. The body and the captive eye being both rotatable relative to swivel loop.

The carabiner also includes a captive eye formed completely within the spine. The body and the captive eye being both rotatable relative to swivel loop.
Carabiner with pinching mechanism
The present invention extends to a carabiner intended for use as an adjustable anchor. In general, embodiments of the invention include a carabiner that includes a pinching mechanism. More specifically, some embodiments of the invention include a carabiner having a pinching mechanism that includes one of a slidable pin, a rotatable cam, or a pivotable block. Additionally, some embodiments of the invention include a rope, whereas other embodiments can be used with a rope supplied by a climber.
Safety hook
A safety hook includes a hook body having an opening, a pivoting portion and a latching portion. A composite link includes a fixing rod and a guiding post. The fixing rod is pivoted at the pivoting portion, and the guiding post has a positioning portion, a sliding groove and a fastening portion. The guiding post encloses the opening through the fastening portion fastened with the latching portion. A rotating kit includes a sleeve and a pin, and the sleeve sheathes the guiding post and coupled to the composite link. A resilience component is sleeved outside the fixing rod and abutted the sleeve. The composite link is restricted when the sleeve is pushed by the resilience component.

Systems and methods for carabiner gate automatic locking
An automatic carabiner gate locking system and method of operation. The system includes a frame, a gate, a gate biasing system, and a gate locking system. The gate locking system further includes a set of rotatable latching sleeves disposed over the gate. When the gate is in the closed state, the latching sleeves independently rotate between an unlocked state in which the gate is free to pivot and a locked state in which the gate may be prevented from pivoting with respect to the frame. The locked state further includes rotationally orienting the latching sleeves over the gate frame coupling region. The unlocked state further includes rotationally separating the latching sleeves to expose a locking recess over the gate recess, thereby allowing the gate to pivot. A second embodiment of the present invention relates to a method of automatically locking a carabiner gate.
