Connector with grommet
A connector with a grommet includes a housing and a grommet. A panel hooking portion, a flange, and a locking projection are formed on an outside of the housing. The grommet includes a panel contact part that comes into tight contact with an edge of a mounting hole of a panel. A flexible arm is formed on the flange so as to protrude from the flange. The locking projection is provided at a front of the flexible arm. A sensing part configured to sense whether the locking projection is locked to the panel, is provided at a rear of the flexible arm so as to protrude outward than the flange. The sensing part is received in a receiving part formed on the panel contact part. When the locking projection is not locked to the panel, the sensing part and the receiving part tilt.
A connection system, a method for connecting two modules, and a flood barrier module system
A connection system for connecting at least one membrane to a rigid support, the connection system comprising: at least one elongated clamping profile, at least one locking unit configured for attaching the at least one elongated clamping profile to the rigid support, thereby clamping a portion of the at least one membrane between the at least one elongated clamping profile and the rigid support so as to achieve a sealing between the at least one membrane and the rigid support, wherein the at least one locking unit is a discrete state locking unit movable between several predetermined locking unit states, each locking unit state corresponding to a connection system stage, the predetermined locking unit states including: an Open locking unit state in which the locking unit is configured to provide a gap between the elongated clamping profile and the rigid support, allowing the portion of the at least one membrane to be inserted between the elongated clamping profile and the rigid support, the Open locking unit state corresponding to an Open stage of the connection system, a Closed locking unit state in which the locking unit is configured to press the clamping profile toward the rigid support so that the at least one membrane is clamped between the elongated clamping profile and the rigid support, the Closed locking unit state corresponding to a Closed stage of the connection system in which a sealing is provided between the at least one membrane and the rigid support, and an Intermediate locking unit state between the Open locking unit state and the Closed locking unit state, in which Intermediate state the at least one membrane is allowed to slide along the elongated clamping profile without disengaging therefrom, corresponding to an Adjustment stage of the connection system.
CONNECTING MEANS AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING TWO COMPONENTS
In order to provide a connecting device for connecting two components, which is simple to manufacture and enables a stable and reliable connection of the two components, it is proposed that the connecting device comprises a main body which comprises a receiving channel extending through the main body for accommodating a fixing element, wherein the receiving channel is preferably accessible at one end by way of an insertion opening of the main body and/or preferably at a (further) end by way of a fixing opening of the main body, wherein the main body preferably further comprises an actuating opening that is different from the insertion opening and/or the fixing opening, by way of which in particular the fixing element arranged in the receiving channel is preferably accessible for the actuation thereof.
MECHANICAL CONNECTORS WITH V-SHAPED ENDS AND STRUCTURES FORMED FROM SAME
A connector includes, an elongate web member, a pair of first and second elongate members extending outward from an end of the web member at a first angle relative to each other to form a V-shape, and a pair of third and fourth elongate members extending outward from an opposite end of the web member at a second angle relative to each other to form a V-shape. The first and second elongate members each have a respective longitudinal free end, and the third and fourth elongate members each have a respective longitudinal free end. The first and second elongate members are slidably engaged with respective receiving slots in a first element, and the third and fourth elongate members are slidably engaged with receiving slots in a second element to join the first and second elements together.
MECHANICAL CONNECTION ARRANGEMENT FOR PANELS
A mechanical connection arrangement for panels comprises a first panel and a second panel. A surface of the first panel and a surface of the second panel are parallel and in contact in a locked position of the first and second panels. The connection arrangement includes at least one rod-shaped element at the surface of the first panel and at least one corresponding insertion recess at the surface of the second panel. The connection arrangement includes locking device which comprises locking pin at one end and a spring at another end. An envelope surface of a cone shaped end part of the locking pin comprises a pin locking surface which in the connected state is configured to cooperate with a recess locking surface of a panel recess.
Magnet, pin, and spring assisted lockable horizontally and vertically aligning ergonomic novel latch mechanisms
A number of magnetically assisted latch mechanisms are presented, where the latching and unlatching action is done with reduced user effort, therefore promoting speed and efficiency without sacrificing the strength of the bond of the connected components. The latching mechanisms are designed to secure panels or other similar small and large mostly flat components. The latching method is done by a rotating component that takes all the separating load once rotated into the locked position. The rotatable lock, or hammer, is also locked itself into position to prevent accidental movement by the hammer.
SPLICE FOR CABLE TRAY AND CABLE TRAY ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SAME
The present disclosure provides a cable tray assembly comprising a cable tray splice, first cable tray section, and second cable tray section adjacent the first cable tray section with both sections having a bottom wall. The cable tray splice couples to the bottom walls. The cable tray splice may include at least two fasteners and a splice body configured to engage adjacent cable tray sections. The fasteners are configured to couple the splice body to the adjacent cable tray sections and include a spring producing a biasing force against the splice body. The disclosure provides a method to form a cable tray assembly including positioning the two cable tray sections end-to-end, positioning a splice body on bottom walls of the two cable tray sections, inserting a fastener through aligned openings in the splice body and the bottom walls, and applying a spring biasing force to the splice body.

Demountable assembly structure
A demountable assembly structure includes a first body, second body, and engaging component. The first body has a first sliding surface and a slide switch recess positioned proximate to the first sliding surface. The second body has a second sliding surface and an engaging channel positioned proximate to the second sliding surface. The engaging channel is opposite the slide switch recess. The engaging component has a slide switch and a resilient element. The resilient element has a basal portion fixedly disposed in the slide switch recess and a resilient engaging arm extended from the basal portion to the engaging channel and engaged inside the engaging channel. The resilient engaging arm has a guide surface opposite the engaging channel. When the first sliding surface slides onto the second sliding surface, the resilient engaging arm gets engaged inside the engaging channel by having the guide surface slid along the engaging channel.
Landscape edging connector
A landscape edging installation includes ends of landscape edging joined together by a connector. The connector may have holes in lugs that are aligned with holes in the landscape edging tabs to receive a ground spike therethrough. The connector conceals a gap between the adjacent edging pieces.
