SYSTEM FOR POSITIONING A VIEWING SCREEN
The invention provides a system for positioning a viewing screen. The system comprises a base body and at least one screen body. The screen body comprises a suspension hook and, on the one hand, is configured to be rigidly connected, at least in one position of the screen body, to the base body and, on the other hand, is configured to fasten a viewing screen thereto. The system further comprises a securing body for releasably securing the rigid connection between the base body and the screen body. The base body comprises a suspension edge. The suspension hook and the suspension edge are configured to suspend the screen body from the suspension edge of the base body via the suspension hook.
Coupling for connecting construction parts, a truss provided therewith and associated method and use
The invention relates to a coupling for connecting construction parts, a truss provided therewith and associated meth od and use. The coupling comprises a female and a male coupling part. The female coupling part comprises: a tubular receiving part, the wall of which an opening is provided; a ball which is placed in the opening and which is movable in radial direction of the receiving part; and a locking sleeve which is screwed onto and encloses the receiving part and which by being screwed is movable in the longitudinal direction of the receiving part between an opened position, in which the locking sleeve allows movement of the ball in the opening for the purpose of placing/removing the male coupling part into/from the receiving part, and a closed position in which the locking sleeve locks the male coupling part in the female coupling part with the ball, wherein the male coupling part is an elongate pin which comprises in its outer wall a groove for the ball.
Integrated bearing assembly
Solar trackers that may be advantageously employed on sloped and/or variable terrain to rotate solar panels to track motion of the sun across the sky include bearing assemblies and other mechanical features configured to address mechanical challenges posed by the sloped and/or variable terrain that might otherwise prevent or complicate use of solar trackers on such terrain.
Modular Building Units, and Methods of Constructing and Transporting Same
A lower connector includes a lower connector hollow body, a pair of lower connector bosses coupled to the lower connector hollow body, and a pair of lower connector arms coupled to the lower connector bosses. A connector assembly includes an upper connector coupled to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors.
Multi-Pieced Handrail-Mounting Bracket and Corresponding Method
The present disclosure concerns a handrail-mounting bracket assembly for mounting a first handrail element to a second handrail element or a support structure, the bracket assembly comprising: a first handrail-mounting subassembly including a first handrail-mounting member and a first connecting member; a second handrail-mounting subassembly including a second handrail-mounting member and a second connecting member; the bracket assembly being selectively configurable in an engagement configuration in which the first and second handrail-mounting members are at least partially insertable into a bracket-engaging opening of the first handrail element, and in a mounting configuration wherein the first and second handrail-mounting members at least partially form together a handrail-mounting end portion and are locked with the first handrail element so as to prevent removal of the bracket assembly from the bracket-engaging opening once inserted therein. It also concerns a corresponding method for removably mounting a multi-pieced handrail-mounting bracket to a handrail element.
Row-end cantilevered beam module support
Solar trackers that may be advantageously employed on sloped and/or variable terrain to rotate solar panels to track motion of the sun across the sky include bearing assemblies and other mechanical features configured to address mechanical challenges posed by the sloped and/or variable terrain that might otherwise prevent or complicate use of solar trackers on such terrain.
Hydraulically set liner top packer
A liner and a method of setting the liner. The liner includes an outer tubular member, a hydraulic actuator on an outer surface of the outer tubular member for hydraulically setting a packer of the liner, and a hydraulic channel for directing fluid through the outer tubular member and into the hydraulic actuator to set the packer. The hydraulic channel has a first port at an inner surface of the outer tubular member and a second port at the outer surface of the outer tubular member at an axial location of the hydraulic actuator. The first port is at a different axial location of the outer tubular member than the second port. A fluid is pumped through the hydraulic channel into the hydraulic actuator to set the packer.
Horizontal universal joint
A horizontal universal joint includes a first joint member and a second joint member. The first joint member is integrally formed by a frame insertion port and a female coupling port. The second joint member is integrally formed by a frame insertion port and a male coupling port. The female coupling port of the first joint member and the male coupling port of the second joint member are removably engaged via an elastic body. Teeth rows are formed at an inner peripheral surface of the female coupling port and an outer peripheral surface of the male coupling port meshing with one another. Depending on meshing positions of both teeth rows when the male coupling port is inserted into the female coupling port, the horizontal direction where the frame insertion port of the second joint member faces relative to the frame insertion port of the first joint member is changeable.

Connection system
Aspects of novel connection systems and methods are disclosed herein. A partially hollow nose is configured to one of connect a pathway to a body catch to accept a quick connect body (QCB) or mate with a connection system configured to be inserted into a shaped cavity in the nose; and, a quick connect module (QCM) and the nose are configured to cooperate to accept insertion of the QCB through the side wall of the nose into the body catch of the QCM; wherein the QCB affixes the QCM into the nose; and, wherein pushing on the button at one end of the QCB compresses the integral biasing arm of said QCB opening a catch and release interface to accept a tool.
