CONTROL CABLE QUICK DISCONNECT
A quick connect and disconnect arrangement for a cable comprises a housing for holding the cable. The housing comprises a first section and a second section. One of the first section and the second section comprises a protruding lug having an aperture therein and the other of the first section and the second section comprises a locking system. The locking system comprises a channel, an opening disposed along a portion of the channel and for receiving the lug, and a bolt configured to move within the channel. When, in use, the housing is closed around the cable, the lug is positioned in the opening, the channel is aligned with the aperture and the bolt is configured to move within the channel in order to engage with the aperture and thereby retain the lug in the opening.
Apparatus and method for operating multiple latches with a single pull
A mechanism for use with multiple latches that are to be released by a single handle and by a single pull. A method for actuating multiple latches with a single handle and by a single pull. A release mechanism for use with multiple latches that are to be released by a single handle and by a single pull, including: a first member slidably received within a housing; a second member rotatably secured to the first member for movement about an axis within the housing and with respect to the first member; a first cable secured to the first member and slidably received within the housing; a second cable secured to the second member and slidably received within the housing; and a third cable secured to the second member and slidably received within the housing, wherein the second cable is shorter than the first cable.
Vehicle handle device and rotation operation clip
A vehicle handle device configured to operate a door lock device by transmitting an operation force of an operator via a cable device, the vehicle handle device includes an operation member configured to apply the operation force to the cable device by operation of the operator, and a handle case configured to accommodate the operation member. The handle case includes a cable fixing base portion in which the cable device is configured to be disposed, a cap portion configured to fix the cable device to the cable fixing base portion, and a hinge portion which is provided on the cable fixing base portion and the cap portion and is configured to rotate the cap portion relative to the cable fixing base portion.
Structure for fixing shift cable
A structure for fixing a shift cable comprises a protective tube for receiving the shift cable therein, a connection tube installed outside the protective tube, a damper installed outside the connection tube to attenuate radial and axial vibration, a main casing which is installed outside the damper and forms a clearance for assembly with a mounting bracket, a sub-casing which is detachably coupled to the main casing by means of an axial assembly guide portion, and a cover which is supported by means of an elastic member with respect to the sub-casing and is installed such that an axial displacement of the cover is restricted with respect to the main casing.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING A BOWDEN CABLE AND BOWDEN CABLE
The disclosure is directed to a method for manufacturing a Bowden cable, in particular a Bowden cable of a closure element arrangement of a motorized vehicle, comprising the step of applying a noise dampening sleeve to a Bowden cable housing. It is suggested that the noise dampening sleeve is molded onto the Bowden cable housing.
Cable end fitting and cable abutment and method of securement
A cable conduit end for securing a cable to a cable abutment of a latch, the cable conduit end including: a housing; a pair of arm members integrally formed with the housing of the conduit end, wherein the pair of arm members are spring biased into a first position; and a platform integrally formed with the pair of arm members, the platform extending laterally from the pair of arm members.
Clearance Adjusting Device for Cable
A clearance adjusting device for a cable includes a wire having a first side connected to a drive mechanism and a second side connected to an operation mechanism to enable the drive mechanism to be operated in conjunction with the operation mechanism when the wire is moved in an other direction by operation of the operation mechanism, an elastic part having a first end portion connected to the wire and formed to be elastically compressible, and a clearance elimination mechanism fixed to a base, with the wire and the elastic part embedded therein while the wire passes therethrough, in a state where a second end portion of the elastic part is connected to and supported by the clearance elimination mechanism, such that the wire receives an elastic force provided in the other direction toward the operation mechanism by the elastic part.
Tension cable control duplexer
An electric vehicle includes a charge port configured to selectively lock a charge plug to the charge port, a charge port door configured to provide access to the charge port, a charge port door lock configured to selectively lock the charge port door in a closed position, a primary manual release cable operably coupled to the charge port to manually unlock the charge plug from the charge port, and a secondary tension cable system coupled between the primary manual release cable and the charge port door lock. Actuation of the primary manual release cable simultaneously unlocks the charge plug from the charge port and actuates the secondary tension cable system to unlock the charge port door lock.
SHEATH END PIECE FOR VEHICLE OPENING CABLE
A sheath end piece of a connecting element that connects two vehicle door opening devices includes a base, a mounting element, and a dismounting element. The connecting element includes a cable which is partially covered with a sheath. The base is mounted on an end portion of the sheath and includes a fastening interface to permit the mounting and dismounting of the connecting element on one of the two door opening devices. The mounting element permits exerting a pressure on the fastening interface so as to permit the mounting of the connecting element. The dismounting element permits exerting a traction on the fastening interface so as to permit the dismounting of the connecting element. At least one of the mounting element and the dismounting element protrudes from the base.
