A method for controlling carbide network in a bearing steel wire rod by controlling cooling and rolling, comprises the following steps: rapidly rolling a bar to a wire rod and spinning it into a loose coil, controlling the rolling temperature at 780° C.-880° C.; and the spinning temperature at 750° C.-850° C.; carrying out on-line controlling cooling of continuous loose coils using EDC water bath austempering cooling process, controlling the cooling rate at 2.0° C./s-10° C./s, and controlling the final cooling temperature within 620-630° C.; after EDC water bath austempering cooling, using slow cooling under a cover, and the temperature is controlled to be 400° C.-500° C. when being removed out of the cover; after slow cooling, collecting coils, and cooling in air to the room temperature.
Method of manufacturing a wheel hub bearing unit for vehicles and associated wheel hub bearing unit
A wheel hub bearing unit including an outer ring, rolling bodies and an inner ring provided with a flange at a first end thereof, the inner ring being made with a sliding surface for sealing lips of a sealing device arranged so as to protect the rolling bodies, defined by a metal insert formed integrally with the first end and arranged astride a base portion of the flange and a portion of the first end immediately adjacent to the base portion of the flange. The metal insert has a thickness of between 0.2 and 2 mm and being made, using a material different from the material with which the inner ring is manufactured and consisting of an austenitic stainless steel, by means of additive manufacturing.
SELF-LUBRICATING BEARING
A self-lubricating bearing includes an outer ring having a concave inside surface that defines an interior area of the outer ring. The bearing includes an inner member having a convex exterior surface. The inner member is disposed in the interior area, and the convex exterior surface has a physical vapor deposition coating thereon. A self-lubricating liner is bonded to the concave inside surface. The outer ring is made from a first metallic alloy, and the inner member made from a second metallic alloy.

A heat-resistant sintered sliding member according to the present invention has a structure in which a lubrication phase is dispersed in a matrix, in which an entire composition of the sliding member is composed of a composition containing, by mass %, Cr: 18% to 35%, Mo: 0.3% to 15%, Ni: 0% to 30%, Si: 0.5% to 6%, S: 0.2% to 4.0%, P: 0% to 1.2%, B: 0% to 0.8%, and a Fe balance containing inevitable impurities, in which the matrix is a Fe—Cr—Mo—Si-based matrix or a Fe—Cr—Mo—Ni—Si-based matrix, the lubrication phase contains chromium sulfide, and a porosity of an entire sliding member is 2.0% or less.
