A self-lubricating liner is disposed in the bore between the inside housing surface and the exterior shaft surface. The self-lubricating liner has an inside liner surface that is in sliding engagement with the exterior shaft surface of the shaft. The self-lubricating liner has an exterior liner surface.
Mirror device
A mirror device includes: a mirror having a rotation shaft and a reflecting surface that reflects display light; a support portion having a cylindrical shape, having a base end fixed and a tip end being a free end, and configured to rotatably support the rotation shaft; and a motor that pivots the mirror, in which the rotation shaft is inserted into the support portion while spreading the support portion outward in a radial direction, and is slidably supported by the support portion.
Pivot cradle bearing and method for producing a pivot cradle bearing
A pivot cradle bearing (1) having a pivoting element (2) which is mounted to pivot in a housing (3) is provided in which an inner bearing shell (7), on which rolling bodies (4) are rolling, is held on the pivoting element (2). The inner bearing shell (7) is held by rivets (10) in a form-fitting manner on the pivoting element (2) in the circumferential direction of the bearing shell (7).
Sealing Arrangement Having A Rod Seal, Output Apparatus For Discharging A Flowable Medium And Rod Seal
A sealing arrangement having a rod seal for sealing a cavity for a flowable medium in the region of a rod includes an output apparatus for discharging the flowable medium. The rod is movably supported in a housing to be displaced in an axial direction. The housing has a bearing portion, wherein the rod seal is supported in a fixed manner and wherein the rod extends through the bearing portion and the rod seal so that a first rod portion and a second rod portion are arranged at different sides of the bearing portion. The first rod portion is located at a side facing the cavity and the second rod portion is located at a side facing away from the cavity. The rod seal is arranged at the side of the bearing portion facing the first rod portion and has a first sealing lip and a second sealing lip that are spaced apart from each other in the axial direction and circumferentially contact the rod. The bearing portion facing the cavity has a discharge structure having a support face which circumferentially surrounds the rod. The rod seal is in abutment with the support face and the support face has a diameter which increases in the direction of the second rod portion.
Cushioning slides
An apparatus (1) with a reciprocating component (3) fitted with composite cushioning slides (13) on an exterior surface (8, 9). The reciprocating component (3) is movable along a reciprocation path and the composite cushioning slide (13) includes an exterior first layer (14) and an interior second layer (15). The first layer (14) is formed with an exterior surface (16) configured and orientated to come into sliding contact with a containment surface (7) of the apparatus (1) during the reciprocating movement of the reciprocating component (3), the first layer (14) is formed from a material of predetermined friction and/or abrasion resistance properties. The interior second layer (15) is located between the first layer (14) and reciprocating component (3) and is formed from a shock-absorbing material having predetermined shock absorbing properties.
Finite linear motion guide unit
A small-sized finite linear motion guide unit is provided in which there is provided a rack-and-pinion arrangement to prevent any discrepancy between retainer plates to make sure of relative sliding movement of guideways. A rack is composed of teeth portions and a pair of connecting bars to fasten the teeth thereon. The connecting bars are different in widthwise length to form asymmetrical shapes. The grooves for a rack made on the guideway includes a middle groove to get the rack to mate with the pinion, and sidewise grooves lying on both sides of the middle groove and having the connecting bars different in widthwise length to make an asymmetric shape.
Assembly for a bearing and methods of making and using the same
An assembly comprising: a core in the form of a toroid; and at least one washer overlying the core, the washer comprising a polymer, wherein the washer has an arcuate cross-section so as to have a shape complementary to the core.
Slide bearing
Provided is a slide bearing capable of sustaining sliding performance over long period. A slide bearing has an upper case (2) configured to be attached to an upper support for attachment of a suspension to a vehicle body, a lower case (3) rotatably combined with the upper case (2) to form an annular space (7); and an annular center plate (4) and an annular sliding sheet (5) both placed within the annular space (7). The center plate (4) includes a bearing surface (40) slidable with the sliding sheet (5) and an annular groove (42) formed on the bearing surface (40) so as to hold lubricant. The annular groove (42) has an inner circumferential surface (43a) inclining down from the opening section toward the groove bottom section as it goes outwardly in the radial direction and an outer circumferential surface (43b) inclining down from the opening section toward the groove bottom section as it goes inwardly in the radial direction. A line P of intersection between the inner circumferential surface (43a) and the outer circumferential surface (43b) is located closer to the bearing surface (40) than to a back face (41) of the center plate (4).
