The bearing damper is installed with the aid of the coupling element between a bearing of the compressor device and the housing of the compressor device. The coupling element allows little or no movement of the bearing relative to the housing the radial direction compared to the axial direction. The damping element is configured to dampen the axial movement of the bearing relative to the housing.
GAS BEARING WITH INTEGRAL NON-CONTACTING SEAL
A gas bearing for a compressor includes a bearing portion and a sealing portion mounted to a bearing housing of the compressor via one or more dampers, and the sealing portion being fixedly connected to the bearing portion, and a vent with an inlet in the bearing. The bearing portion has an inner radial surface for radially supporting a shaft of the compressor. The sealing portion has a sealing surface. The inlet of the vent disposed between the inner radial surface and the sealing surface. The sealing surface and a rotating surface form a path that extends along the sealing surface. The path extending from a pressurized volume of the compressor to the vent, and the pressurized volume containing a fluid.
TURBOMACHINERY SHAFT WITH VARIABLE LATTICE DENSITIES
A rotating shaft for a rotary machine includes a first shaft portion centered on a central axis and a variable lattice structure in an interior of the rotating shaft. The variable lattice structure includes a first region of the rotating shaft having a first lattice structure and a second region of the rotating shaft having a second lattice structure. The second lattice structure of the second region is denser than the first lattice structure of the first region. The second region is a deflection region or a stress region of the rotating shaft.
Bearing assembly
A bearing assembly includes at least two bearings each having an inner ring and outer ring, the inner rings being mounted on a shaft, and a balancing piston being disposed between the two bearings. The balancing piston includes a first part and a second part, the first and second parts each contacting the outer rings of the two bearings in an axial direction. The balancing piston further includes an inlet for directing a pressure fluid between the first and second parts to provide pressure to the first and second parts such that the balancing piston adjusts or exerts axial force on at least one of the two bearings. The balancing piston includes an outlet for directing the pressure fluid to lubricate at least one of the two bearings. Also, the outer diameter of the balancing piston is greater than the outer diameter of the outer rings of the two bearings.
Compressor
The invention relates to a compressor (20) for generating a compressed air flow for a fuel cell (10), having a compressor element (21), in particular a compressor wheel, wherein the compressor element (21) is coupled in a to a drive shaft (23) for co-rotation, the drive shaft (23) being driven by a motor (22), in particular an electric motor, wherein at least one hydrodynamic or hydrostatic bearing (24, 25) is used to mount the shaft (23) in a rotatable manner, wherein the plain bearing (24, 25) is connected to a lubricant supply means (30), which is used to supply a lubricant for hydrodynamic or hydrostatic pressure generation to the plain bearing (24, 25), wherein the lubricant is water or a fluid mixture, predominantly comprising water, wherein the plain bearing (24, 25) has a lubricant inlet and a lubricant outlet, wherein the lubricant can be routed to the plain bearing (24, 25) via the lubricant inlet and the lubricant can be discharged from the plain bearing (24, 25) via the lubricant outlet, and wherein a discharge area of the circulation system (30) is disposed in the area of the lubricant outlet. An operationally safe design can be implemented for such a compressor if provision is made for the cross-section area of the outlet of the liquid outlet of the plain bearing (24, 25) to be completely covered by the lubricant held in the discharge area.
SLIDING GUIDE DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL
Provided is a sliding guide device for a machine tool, which is capable of supplying an appropriate amount of lubricating oil onto a sliding surface in a stable manner for a long period of time. A movable body is provided with a porous-body accommodation space that is open toward a guide face of a base. The porous-body accommodation space is in communication with a lubricating-oil supply passage that is in communication with an external lubricating oil supply unit. In the porous-body accommodation space, a porous body is disposed in a manner to provide a gap G between the porous body and the guide face of the base.
