In order to simplify the assembly of a corresponding bearing assembly and to reduce the production costs thereof, at least one circumferential groove, according to the invention, is arranged on an outer lateral surface of a compressor-side end section of the bearing outer ring, in which at least one groove the securing element engages, and the securing element is arranged outside of the bearing bore on the compressor side and is supported at least indirectly on a compressor-side end of the bearing housing.

A motor adjustment drive for a vehicle steering column includes a threaded spindle with an axis. The threaded spindle engages a spindle nut. A drive unit and a gear wheel which is connected to the spindle nut or the threaded spindle for rotation therewith is driveable to rotate by the drive unit and is rotatably mounted in a bearing housing between two outer bearing rings that are axially supported at the bearing housing. The outer bearing rings each have, on their sides facing one another, a circumferential outer bearing face that is coaxial to the axis. Each outer bearing face lays opposite a bearing face embodied on the end side at the gear wheel. An outer bearing ring is axially resiliently supported at the bearing housing via an elastic element, which exerts an axial force that biases the two outer bearing rings toward each other.

The centrifugal separator includes a spindle supported by a stationary frame, A drive unit acts on a rotating member mounted on the spindle to rotate the spindle. A centrifuge rotor mounted to the spindle encloses a separation space. An upper bearing housing is mounted to the stationary frame and supports bearings including an outer bearing ring attached to the upper bearing housing and an inner bearing ring attached to the spindle. The upper bearing housing is mounted to the stationary frame via an elastic member permitting the upper bearing housing and the spindle to move radially, and via an upper tilting member permitting the spindle to tilt during operation of the centrifugal separator.

A rotation prevention apparatus configured to prevent the rotation of the holder is positioned between the holder and a stopper member on the stator side.

The driveshaft may be formed from a first material and a compressor housing may be formed from a second material. The first and second materials may have different rates of thermal expansion. A dynamic preloading mechanism, such as a flexible plate, may be provided within the compressor assembly to exert a preloading force on the bearing assembly. Throughout the duration of the flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle, the preloading mechanism can continually compensate for differences in rates of thermal expansion between the first and second materials throughout.

DENTAL HANDPIECE AND AXIAL GROOVE BALL BEARING

The dental handpiece consists of a housing with a handle and a turbine that can be operated with compressed gas or compressed air. The rotational movement of the turbine driven by compressed gas is transmitted to the dental tool via a rotor shaft and a chuck. The rotor shaft is rotatably supported by at least one axial groove ball bearing. The radial rigidity required for operating a dental handpiece is achieved by axially preloading the ball bearings. Projections on the housing and the shaft disc of the at least one axial groove ball bearing allow the axial groove ball bearing to be used as radial groove ball bearings. The proposed design of the dental handpiece exhibits little power loss or frictional loss in comparison to dental handpieces with radial groove ball bearings, and slip and drilling friction components can be virtually completely prevented in particular.
