A KIND OF SELF-ADJUSTING STATIC PRESSURED PLANE GUIDE RAIL

A self-adjusting static pressured plane guide rail consists of a base, slider provided on the base and an upper pressing plate corresponding to the shoulders on both sides of the slider; wherein: each upper pressing plate's outer edge contacts the base to form a fulcrum and the upper pressing plate's inner edge acts as the force portion and a upper pressing block is set between force portion and the slider's shoulder and a metal wire is set between the upper pressing block's top surface and the force portion's bottom surface of upper pressing plate along the slider's sliding direction; the upper pressing plate is provided with pre-tightening bolt to connect the base in a fixed way. When vibration frequency changes during operation, the oil film gap changes accordingly due to pre-tightening bolt's elasticity of the mutual function and the metal wire's elasticity to always maintain oil film layer's rigidity function.

DAMPER SYSTEM FOR AN ENGINE SHAFT

An engine assembly defining an axial direction (A) and including a gearbox, an engine core including at least one rotor, and a flexible coupling shaft having a first end and a second end along the axial direction (A). The first end of the flexible coupling shaft is connected to the engine core and the second end of the flexible coupling shaft is connected to the gearbox. A damper system is positioned at the second end of the flexible coupling shaft. The damper system is configured to reduce vibrations to the flexible coupling shaft during operation of the engine assembly.

Rotating machine and turbocharger

On an inner circumferential surface (25a) of a housing (25) opposed to an outer circumferential surface (37a, 37b) of an outer ring, toward a front side in a rotation direction (B) of a rotation shaft (21), a first groove (41H, 41I) is formed as a groove portion for guiding an oil (39) in a direction toward a first oil supply hole (41D, 41E).

Bearing assembly for supporting rotation of a shaft in a turbocharger

A bearing assembly for supporting rotation of a shaft in a turbocharger includes an inner race extending along an axis. The inner race is configured to be coupled to the shaft. The bearing assembly also includes an outer race spaced radially from the inner race and a cage disposed radially between the inner race and the outer race. The bearing assembly further includes a rolling element disposed radially between the outer race and the inner race. The rolling element is disposed within the cage for supporting rotation of the shaft. The outer race defines a lubricant passageway configured to direct lubricant toward the cage.

Shape memory alloy reinforced casing

A casing for a bearing of a gas turbine engine includes a shaft extending along an axial direction. The casing includes an attachment feature at a radially outermost portion of the casing. The attachment feature is configured to be coupled to a static frame of the gas turbine engine. The casing further includes a plurality of support arms extend from the attachment feature to a radially innermost portion of the casing. At least one support arm of the plurality of support arms defines an internal cavity. Further, the radially innermost portion of the casing is configured to be coupled to an outer race of the bearing. The casing additionally includes a reinforcing member housed at least partially within the internal cavity of at least one support arm. Moreover, the reinforcing member includes a shape memory alloy material.

System for the axial retention of a rolling element bearing

A system for the axial retention of a holding ring for a bearing for guiding in rotation a rotary shaft of a turbomachine is disclosed. The system includes an annular bearing support and a bearing holding ring that is borne by the annular bearing support. The bearing holder ring includes an upstream ring configured to be brought into contact with the bearing support and a downstream ring that is elastically deformable. The bearing support has a first axial retention element, and the bearing holding ring has a second axial retention element. The first and second axial retention elements are configured to cooperate with one another to axially retain the bearing holding ring in the event of damage to the downstream ring.

Damper bearing and damper

A damper bearing includes: a bearing portion that supports a rotary shaft; and a tubular portion that is located around an outer circumference of the bearing portion, and has an outer surface attachable to a structural member. The bearing portion can be a hydrostatic bearing that supports the rotary shaft with a predetermined bearing clearance therebetween. 20220356906 · 2022-11-10 · ·

A device for damping a rolling bearing includes a support and a radially flexible cage. The cage includes a ring provided in order to be mounted on the periphery of a rolling bearing. The radial flexibility of this cage results from the structure thereof which is perforated by oblique posts connecting the ring to an attachment annulus of this cage. The support includes a plurality of teeth each extending radially through a respective inter-post opening of the cage. The ring and the support form, radially between one another, a fluid damping cavity suitable for forming a compressed fluid film. The device allows a controlled radial movement of the ring, the latter being radially limited by the support, while having a limited footprint.
