20180003219 · 2018-01-04 ·

A ball-socket type tilting pad journal bearing configured to reduce friction between a tilting pad and a pivot includes a housing body, a plurality of tilting pads disposed inside the housing body, and a plurality of pivots fixed on an inner surface of the housing body. An oil collection unit for collecting oil is provided in at least one of an outer circumferential surface of each of the pivots and a socket of each of the tilting pads.

DOUBLE-LAYER SLIDING BEARING
20180003226 · 2018-01-04 ·

A double-layer sliding bearing comprises an inner layer and an outer layer. An inner periphery of the outer layer is integrated with an outer periphery of the inner layer through moulds for molding processes. A circular bearing surface is formed on either an inner periphery of the inner layer or an outer periphery of the outer layer. A layer having the bearing surface is arranged by a porous thin-wall layer with high forming density. The other layer not having the bearing surface is arranged by a porous thick-wall layer with low forming density.

TAPERED ROLLER BEARING

A tapered roller bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, a plurality of tapered rollers provided in an annular space formed between the inner and outer rings and rolling on an inner raceway surface and an outer raceway surface, and an annular cage that holds the tapered rollers. The cage has a small annular portion positioned toward an axially first side with respect to the tapered rollers, a large annular portion positioned toward an axially second side with respect to the tapered rollers, and a plurality of cage bars that couples the small annular portion and the large annular portion together. A minute clearance is formed between the inner ring and the large annular portion and between the outer ring and the large annular portion, respectively.

PLAIN BEARING ARRANGEMENT FOR A SHAFT LOADED WITH A CIRCUMFERENTIAL RADIAL FORCE

A plain bearing arrangement for a shaft loaded with a circumferential radial force, having a bearing ring arranged in a rotationally fixed manner in a housing component and having a first running surface formed on the inner circumference, and a second running surface formed on the outer circumference of the shaft or on the outer circumference of a sleeve arranged on the shaft, the second running surface being mounted in a sliding manner on the first running surface, wherein a device for axially feeding a lubricant to an end side of the shaft is provided, and at least one axially extending, radially open groove that is axially open in a direction of the end side of the shaft is formed in the second running surface.

ANTI-FRICTION LACQUER AND SLIDING ELEMENT HAVING SUCH AN ANTI-FRICTION LACQUER
20230003254 · 2023-01-05 ·

An anti-friction lacquer has a resin matrix of a polymer and functional fillers containing mixed-phase oxides having a specified grinding hardness and proportion and optionally contain further functional fillers. A sliding element is also disclosed having a metallic substrate layer and a coating applied to the substrate that is made of at least in part of the anti-friction.

Blood pump shaft bearing

A blood pump includes an impeller; a drive shaft coupled to the impeller and configured to rotate with the impeller; a motor configured to drive the impeller; and a bearing assembly disposed adjacent the motor and configured to receive an end of the drive shaft. The bearing assembly includes a bearing, where the end of the drive shaft is at least partially rounded, and the where the bearing includes a concave depression defined in a first side of the bearing, where the depression is configured to receive the end of the drive shaft. The bearing assembly may include a lubricant chamber configured to hold a lubricant.

Bearing assembly for a charging apparatus

A bearing assembly for a charging apparatus. The bearing assembly comprises a bearing housing and a shaft. The bearing assembly further comprises a compressor-side bearing bushing and a turbine-side bearing bushing which together support the shaft inside a bearing bore of the bearing housing. The compressor-side bearing bushing is configured differently than the turbine-side bearing bushing.

Sliding member

Disclosed herein is a sliding member having an alloy overlay layer that comes into sliding contact with a counterpart member thereof and has improved fatigue resistance. The sliding member comprises a base material layer and an alloy overlay layer formed on the base material layer, in which the alloy overlay layer has a soft metal phase made of tin and precipitated in a metallic matrix phase made of aluminum, and when an average aspect ratio of the soft metal phase is defined as A, and its standard deviation is defined as Aσ, A+Aσ is 3.0 or less. In this case, the soft metal phase has a shape close to a sphere without elongating in a certain direction.
