Torque tube coupler
A first embodiment of a torque tube coupler may include an outer body that includes a first abutting surface and a second abutting surface adjacent to the first abutting surface. Set screws may be inserted into one or more channels of the first abutting surface. Tightening the set screws may force the abutting surfaces away from each other and the outer body to press against an inner surface of a torque tube. Another embodiment of the torque tube coupler may include a central ring sized based on a size of a torque tube. The torque tube coupler may also include a set of fingers that extend away from a first side of the central ring and are shaped to flex radially outward. The torque tube coupler may include a core disposed within the set of fingers that, when drawn towards the central ring, causes the fingers to flex radially outwards.
BEARING LOCK, BEARING ASSEMBLY AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
A lock for use with an assembly is provided. The assembly includes an inner race having a bore with a generally tapered periphery. The bearing assembly supports a shaft. The bearing lock includes a sleeve having a generally cylindrical internal periphery adapted for cooperation with the shaft and a generally tapered external periphery that cooperates with the bore. The sleeve conforms from a first condition whereby the internal periphery defines a first diameter to a second condition whereby the internal periphery defines a second diameter different than the first. The bearing lock also includes a collar that cooperates with the sleeve to urge the sleeve from the first condition to the second condition. The collar conforms from a first condition whereby the generally cylindrical internal periphery defines a first diameter to a second condition whereby the internal periphery defines a second diameter substantially different than the first.
Bicycle transmission device
A bicycle transmission device for connecting to a freehub body on a rear wheel, which has convex keys arranged radially on the periphery. The bicycle transmission device includes a connecting member, a fastener, and a cogset assembly. The connecting member includes a cylindrical body portion, connection keys protruding from a periphery of the body portion, a cut groove passing through the body portion, and first and second connecting seats located on two sides of the cut groove. The inner wall of the body portion has concave grooves corresponding to the convex keys. The fastener is adapted to be connected to the connecting seats and to pull them together. The cogset assembly includes a cogset seat and sprockets. The cogset seat has a first socket hole fitting around the connecting member and connection grooves corresponding to and adapted to be connected to the connection keys. The sprockets with different numbers of chain teeth are adapted to be connected to the cogset seat.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEEP BRAIN STIMULATION SURGERY
Systems and methods for operating deep brain stimulation are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the systems and methods encompass an adapter a body portion, a shank portion; and a cam system. The cam system is comprised of a camshaft and an eyebolt that secures a latch. The body portion of the adapter is coupled to a hand knob of a microdriver and the shank portion is coupled to a drill. When the drill is activated, the adapter transmits rotational energy from the drill to the hand knob of the microdriver, which automates the raising and lowering of its needle.
Shaft coupling
A shaft coupling includes a drive hub that is coupled to a drive shaft to rotate integrally with the drive shaft, a driven hub that is coupled to a driven shaft to rotate integrally with the driven shaft, and a rotation transmission portion that transmits rotation between the drive hub and the driven hub. A dynamic vibration absorber is integrally coupled to a section of at least one of the drive hub and the driven hub. The section is an uninvolved section that is not involved in a torsional stiffness of the whole shaft coupling.
Universal joint assembly
A universal joint assembly includes a yoke including a serration hole to receive an end portion of a steering column and a bolt-hole to receive a bolt which is used to restrict the steering column received in the serration hole, and a misassembly prevention member coupled to the yoke and elastically movable from a first position in which the bolt-hole is at least partially blocked to a second position in which the bolt-hole is opened, thereby preventing a misassembly of the steering column and improving safety and reliability of the universal joint assembly.
BEARING UNIT WITH CONCENTRIC CLAMPING COLLAR
A bearing unit having a stationary radially outer ring, a radially inner ring rotatable about a central rotation axis (X) of the bearing unit is provided with at least one raceway and, in an end portion thereof, with at least two circular sector segments, at least one row of rolling elements interposed between the radially outer ring and the radially inner ring, and a concentric collar for clamping the radially inner ring on a rotating shaft, where an induction-hardening heat treatment is applied to a portion of the radially inner ring that overlaps with at least a portion of the at least one raceway.
Vehicle steering device and assembling method thereof
A vehicle steering device includes a positioning clip configured to align a pinion shaft with a joint portion of a steering shaft, wherein the pinion shaft includes a torsion bar and a tubular member having the torsion bar inserted thereinto, an upper end of the torsion bar is axially further away from the joint portion than an upper end of the tubular member, the positioning clip includes an inserted portion to be inserted into the tubular member, and a gap between the inserted portion and the tubular member is sealed.
DISC FOR A SEPARATING CONVEYOR SCREEN AND SEPARATING CONVEYOR SCREEN INCLUDING SUCH A DISC
A disc for a separating conveyor screen has a disc body with an opening in an axial direction for receiving a shaft. At least one anchoring member of the disc has an anchoring portion projecting into the opening in a radially inward direction and has a positioning portion fitted in a disc body of the disc. The anchoring portion has at least one projection in circumferential sense of the opening for anchoring in at least one recess in an outside surface of the shaft. At least one tensioner is provided for tensioning the anchoring member and the disc body radially towards each other. A separating conveyor screen equipped with such discs is also described.
