A first gearwheel and a second gearwheel are disposed in engagement with the output shaft via the shifting element such that the first piston moves between a first position and a second position. The control valve includes a second piston arranged on the first piston, and the second piston is adjustable such that movement of the first piston into the second position is blocked by the second piston.

The latching barrel may be cylindrically shaped with a cylindrical surface as an engagement surface and oppositely arranged first and second sides each directed towards one of the two worm gears.

A clutch body, which is arranged on the first rotatable component for conjoint rotation therewith, has a first tooth system and a sliding sleeve, which is arranged on the second rotatable component in a manner which allows conjoint rotation and axial movement, has a second tooth system and is axially movable via a shift fork by an actuator system in order to load a spring element by the actuator system in the case of a tooth-on-tooth position. The spring element to be loaded is arranged outside the second rotatable component equipped with the sliding sleeve.

A dog clutch comprises first (160) and second (170) drive shafts, the drive shafts being connectable to one another by a dual spline connector (150). The dual spline connector is movable along a longitudinal axis of the first (160) and second (170) drive shafts and is provided with an internal spline that mates with an external spline of the first drive shaft. The dual spline connector is further provided with an external spline that upon axial movement may be connected or disconnected to an internal spline of the second drive shaft. Either or both of the external spline of the dual spline connector and/or the internal spline of the second drive shaft is or are provided with means for allowing partial connection of the internal and external splines.
