Wet friction disc

A wet friction disc includes a lubrication groove and a plurality of lands defined by the lubrication groove. The lubrication groove has a plurality of circumferential groove portions that extends in a circumferential direction and has a predetermined groove width in a radial direction, and a plurality of intersecting groove portions that extends in directions intersecting the circumferential direction. At least some of the circumferential groove portions have an arc shape such that an end in the circumferential direction is located adjacent to one of the lands in the circumferential direction and that the groove width is entirely contained within a range in the radial direction spanned by that land.

A clutch arrangement for between an engine and a propeller of a drivetrain of a roadable aircraft. The arrangement includes an engine shaft, a propeller shaft, a stationary clutch arrangement housing, and an engagement member which is rotationally locked to and axially slidable relative to propeller shaft. The engagement member includes a first engagement structure for engaging a corresponding engagement structure associated with the engine shaft for setting the clutch arrangement in a propeller propulsion mode, in which rotational propulsion torque is transmitted from the engine shaft to the propeller shaft via the engagement member. The engagement member further includes a second engagement structure for engaging a corresponding engagement structure associated with the clutch arrangement housing for setting the clutch arrangement in a propeller locked mode, in which the propeller shaft is rotationally locked to the clutch arrangement housing by means of the engagement member.

The common control apparatus for parking and a clutch comprises a parking mechanism, a clutch mechanism, and a motor; the parking mechanism comprises a positioning plate, a rotating drum connected to the positioning plate, a cam groove formed on the rotating drum, an elastic positioner, and positioning grooves; the positioning plate rotates under the driving of the motor; the elastic positioner interacts with the positioning grooves; the rotating drum can rotate to positions corresponding to parking lock, parking disengagement, clutch engagement, and clutch disengagement; the clutch mechanism comprises a clutch shifting fork assembly and a shifting fork driving cam; the cam groove comprises a straight groove and an engagement rotation groove; and when the shifting fork driving cam is located in the engagement rotation groove, the engagement rotation groove is engaged with the shifting fork driving cam to drive the clutch shifting fork assembly to move axially. The present invention simultaneously controls the disengagement and engagement of the parking mechanism and the clutch by means of one motor, and the apparatus has the advantages of simple structure, easy manufacturing, low cost, and high efficiency.

The clutch comprises an input member for receiving a driving force and rotating, an output member for outputting rotational motion, and at least one transmission member. The input member has at least one radially extending protrusion. The output member has at least one transmission engagement part. The transmission member is movable between a first position of engagement with the transmission engagement part and a second position of disengagement, being located in a path of rotation of the protrusion, and able to abut the protrusion and be driven to move to the first position. Displacement of the transmission member between the first position and second position has a radial component. According to the technical solution of the present invention, the function of automatically switching between transmission states according to the operating state of a prime mover can be achieved. The fact that displacement of the transmission member comprises a radial component helps to reduce the axial thickness of the clutch, so that the structure thereof is more compact.

Engagement of the plunger with the ramp surface urges movement of the ramp shaft in an axial direction away from the disconnect shaft to disconnect the ramp shaft from the disconnect shaft.
