DUST SHEET FOR REDUCING BRAKE NOISE AND BRAKE SYSTEM COMPRISING A DUST SHEET
The invention relates to a dust sheet for a vehicle brake configured for reducing brake noise, to a disk brake system comprising a dust sheet and to a method for making a dust sheet, wherein the dust sheet comprises, at least in a section, two or more layers.
DUST SHEET FOR REDUCING BRAKE NOISE AND BRAKE SYSTEM COMPRISING A DUST SHEET
The invention relates to a dust sheet for a vehicle brake, configured for reducing brake noise, wherein the dust sheet comprises sub-centimetre damping structures for attenuating airborne sound, the damping structures being formed by a plurality of holes and/or a plurality of embossings. The invention also relates to a brake system for a vehicle, in particular a disk brake system, comprising such a dust sheet.
Caliper Cover
A caliper cover having a first support member and second support member engaged on a first mount and second mount affixed to opposite sides of a brake caliper. The first and second mounts are held engaged by the fixed spacing of the first and second member. Enhanced engagement is provided through a declining gap formed between opposing first and second portions of the mounts.
FILTER HOUSING OF A BRAKE DUST PARTICLE FILTER FOR A BRAKE DISK ARRANGEMENT AND KIT FOR A FILTER HOUSING OF A BRAKE DUST PARTICLE FILTER
A circular segment-shaped filter housing of a brake dust particle filter for a brake disk arrangement has first and second spaced-apart housing side walls. A housing circumferential wall connects the first and second housing sidewalls. The first and second housing side walls and the housing circumferential wall delimit an opening for receiving a brake disk of the brake disk arrangement. Delimitation parts are arranged at an end face edge of at least one of the first and second housing side walls and at an end face edge of the housing circumferential wall. The delimitation parts are detachable and exchangeable independent of the first and second housing side walls and/or of the housing circumferential wall. The delimitation parts delimit a free cross section area of the opening. A brake dust particle filter is provided with such a filter housing. A kit for producing such a filter housing is provided.
BRAKE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A BRAKE ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE WHEEL
A brake assembly includes a braked member that is coupable or coupled to the vehicle wheel for a joint rotation therewith about a rotational axis, the braked member having contact surfaces that are arranged at an axial distance from one another and a braking unit that comprises a brake force generator and at least two brake pads, the brake pads being positioned in between the contact surfaces, wherein the brake force generator is configured move the brake pads axially apart from one another, thereby bringing each brake pad into contact with one of the contact surfaces of the braked member.
MEASURING RIM FOR MEASURING THE BRAKE ABRASION OF A WHEEL BRAKE
Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to measuring rims and methods for measuring a brake abrasion of a wheel brake having a measuring rim. In one embodiment, consistent with the present disclosure, a measuring rim is disclosed including a circumferential tire support surface connected on one side to an end wall and on an opposite side to a seal to form an outwardly closed inner space, and a rotary feed-through provided on a central region of the end wall, the rotary feed-through configured to supply a gaseous medium to the inner space of the measuring rim and remove it therefrom.
BRAKE DUST PARTICLE FILTER WITH WATER/SLUDGE DRAIN
A brake dust particle filter for an assembly with a brake disc is provided with a ring section-shaped housing that at least partially surrounds the brake disc in a mounted state. The housing has a housing interior. The housing is made of a metal material. The housing interior has a lowermost point and has at the lowermost point an axially embodied drainage cutout for drainage of a fluid out of the housing interior. The housing has an outwardly positioned, mostly axially expanding guide arranged at the drainage cutout for guiding the fluid. An assembly with a brake disc and a brake caliper arranged at the brake disc is provided with such a brake dust particle filter that is arranged at least partially in a bottom region of the brake disc.
BRAKE HOUSING
A housing for a brake system for attachment to an axle of a vehicle, the brake system comprising a braking mechanism having a rotor attached to a hub, and a caliper for receiving a portion of the outer circumference of the rotor permitting stopping rotation of the rotor, the housing comprising a body defining the space for containment of the braking mechanism, and a circular portion having an outer periphery configured to divert debris generated during operation of the vehicle from the outer periphery, wherein the outer periphery comprises a plurality of channels arranged in a spaced apart relationship with respect to each other, the channels extending transversally from one side of the housing to the other side of the housing to divert the debris away from the outer periphery.
Brake Dust Particle Filter, Disc Brake Assembly, Use of a Filter, and Method for Filtering Air Laden with Brake Dust
A brake dust particle filter for a disc brake assembly with brake disc and brake caliper has a filter housing with opposed first and second side walls, a circumferential wall section extending at least partially circumferentially, and an end wall. The first and second side walls are connected to each other by the circumferential wall section and/or by the end wall. A filter housing interior extends from a side of the filter housing facing the brake caliper along the first and second side walls and the circumferential wall section to the end wall. An air-permeable filter wall arranged in the filter housing interior has a filter wall circumferential section that is radially spaced from the circumferential wall section and divides the filter housing interior into a raw air side and a clean air side. The clean air side extends between filter wall circumferential section and first circumferential wall section.
Filter for a Brake Device
The invention relates to a filter for a brake device, comprising a case, a cylindrical tubular filtering element and a dismantlable axial fastening system. The filtering element is located inside the case and the case includes a cylindrical tubular lateral wall having two opposite end edges, a first and a second. The filtering element sits on an internal surface of the lateral wall of the case. The dismantlable axial fastening system provides axial fastening of the filter when same is assembled in the brake device, axial fastening of the filtering element inside the case, and means for assembling and dismantling the filter. The purpose of the filter is to collect all the particles harmful to health that are released each time the brake device brakes, preventing said particles from being transferred to the air that is breathed.
