The sliding bush is configured to carry a lubricant on its circumferentially outer surface and has sealing lips projects radially outward that bear against the inner wall of the respective bore.

The first and second threaded bores are configured to receive threaded fasteners to couple the caliper body to a frame of the bicycle. The first and second piston cylinders are arranged such that projections of the first and second threaded bores do not intersect the first or second piston cylinders. The flat mount brake caliper also includes a brake pad and first and second pistons disposed in the respective first and second piston cylinders to move the brake pad relative to the caliper body.

A profiling is recessed into the bore wall. A faceplate having a peg, projects into the bore and has a peg circumferential surface. A sleeve, which has a sleeve body is arranged between the bore wall and the peg circumferential surface. The sleeve has a spring arm, which is bent outwardly in the radial direction away from the sleeve body. The profiling is designed in such a way that the outwardly bent spring arm can latch into the profiling at various points of the profiling in the axial direction of the bore axis.

The first piston and the second piston can be pushed hydraulically to drive the first brake lining and the second brake lining for braking. The drive unit pushes the second piston to drive the second brake lining, and pushes the movable seat to drive the first brake lining for braking.
