Disk Brake for a Utility Vehicle

A disk brake with lower cost and improved maintainability is provided. The brake caliper includes at least one actuating device for actuating the disc brake using a moveably guided bridge. The bridge has at least one threaded hole into which an actuating spindle is displaceably located. A brake disk end of the actuating spindle penetrates a caliper closing plate facing the brake disk. The positioning spindle carries a rotatably-mounted pressure piece which presses a brake pad against the brake disc. The opening is sealed by a bellows retained on the brake caliper on one side and on the pressure piece on the other side. A securing ring non-rotatably located on the actuating spindle and rotatably connected to the thrust piece interacts with the bellows during brake application and/or release to maintain a desired air gap between the brake disk and brake pad.

Provided is an electric braking device that transmits power generated by an electric motor MTR to a pressing member PSN and causes pressing force to be generated by the pressing member PSN with respect to a friction member MSB. Hysteresis characteristics in the relation between the power supply amount to the electric motor and the pressing force of the pressing member are detected each time a predetermined point in time arrives. Upon determination of a “holding state in which the pressing force is held constant”, a minimum value for a power supply amount that makes it possible to maintain the current pressing force is obtained on the basis of the most recently detected hysteresis characteristics and the power supply amount is set to a value determined on the basis of the obtained minimum value for the power supply amount.

Directional arrow on a brake carrier

The invention relates to a vehicle brake, in particular a utility vehicle disc brake, having a brake carrier with at least one brake pad holder, at least one brake pad which is guided so as to be axially displaceable and supported in the brake pad holder, and a brake caliper which is axially movable relative to the brake carrier. According to the invention, it is proposed that the brake carrier is structurally reinforced on the run-out side relative to the run-in side, and at least one running direction indicator for indicating the first rotational direction is arranged on the brake carrier.

ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC HYBRID BRAKING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE

An electro-hydraulic hybrid braking system for a vehicle is disclosed. The system includes multiple wheel-end braking modules (1), a hydraulic control module (2), a first electronic control module (3), and a second electronic control module (4). Each of the wheel-end braking modules (1) includes a hydraulic piston (10), a motor (8), and a speed-reducing transmission mechanism (9) configured to convert a rotary motion from the motor (8) into a linear motion for driving the hydraulic piston (10) or brake friction plates (12) to move forwards. The hydraulic piston (10) is movably arranged, and is movable forwards through brake hydraulic pressure. The motor (8) is controlled by the first electronic control module (3) and/or the second electronic control module (4). The electro-hydraulic hybrid braking system for a vehicle is applicable to a vehicle braking system for intelligent driving.
