Drive assembly for a motor vehicle

A drive assembly for a motor vehicle includes a drive, a transmission that can be driven by the drive, a drive housing, a transmission housing, and a fastening device. The drive is arranged in the drive housing, and the transmission is arranged in the transmission housing. The drive housing or the transmission housing can be fastened on a carrier by way of the fastening device. The fastening device includes a plurality of vibration dampers and sleeve elements. The sleeve elements surround the vibration dampers.

Bushing with wear pad retainer

A bushing is disclosed for pivotally mounting an end portion of an axle-supporting beam of a vehicle suspension system to a hanger bracket of the vehicle with a pair of wear pads positioned between sides of the end portion of the beam and the hanger bracket, where the pair of wear pads each has a central opening defined by an inner edge. The bushing includes a tubular body having a longitudinal axis, a first end portion, a second end portion and a beam support portion positioned between the first and second end portions. A first resilient wear pad retainer extends radially from the first end portion of the body and a second resilient wear pad retainer extends radially from the second end portion of the body. Each of the first and second wear pad retainers are configured to move into a deflected position when contacted by an inner edge of a wear pad central opening and to rebound back to an original position afterwards as the wear pad is positioned on the first or second end portions of the body so that the wear pad is secured to the bushing.

ELASTIC ARTICULATION

An elastic articulation comprising a first sleeve and a second sleeve is provided. The first sleeve and the second sleeve each include a respective outer armature, a respective inner armature, and a respective elastic body between their respective outer and inner armatures. The elastic articulation also comprises a ring longitudinally connecting the first sleeve and the second sleeve. The ring forms a radial stop between the inner armature and the outer armature of the first sleeve, and between the inner armature and the outer armature of the second sleeve. The elastic articulation improves damping control in different directions.
