Intermediate plate apparatus and related damper assemblies for use with vehicles
Intermediate plate apparatus and related damper assemblies for use with vehicles are disclosed. A disclosed vehicle torque converter includes a clutch and a torsional vibration damper configured to receive a torque from the clutch when the clutch is engaged and dampen a torsional vibration in the torque. The torsional vibration damper includes a driven plate, a retainer plate, a first spring member, a second spring member, and an intermediate plate positioned radially outward relative to the driven plate and the retainer plate. The intermediate plate includes a body that defines an annular cavity though which the first and second spring members extend. The body is configured to engage inner and outer radial portions of the respective first and second spring members to maintain bend radii of the respective first and second spring members.
Lock-up device for torque converter
A lock-up device for a torque converter is provided with a simple structure which reduces manufacturing costs, and which may reduce a size of the entire torque converter by minimizing an installation space of a dynamic damper.
Flywheel having tuned mass dampers
The invention relates to a flywheel for stabilising the position of a spacecraft, comprising a hub means (1) for fastening the flywheel, a flywheel ring (4), which externally surrounds the hub means (1) circumferentially at a distance, a support means (3) for supporting the flywheel ring (4) on the hub means (1), and a vibration damping device (6, 8) having a tuned mass damper means (8) which is axially movable back and forth relative to the flywheel ring with respect to a rotation axis of the flywheel.
Lock-up device for torque converter
The present invention relates to a lock-up device for a torque converter which has a simple structure compared to the prior art, which reduces manufacturing costs, and which may reduce a size of the entire torque converter and improve a damping ability of the dynamic damper by minimizing an installation space of a dynamic damper.
DAMPER DEVICE
Provided is a damper device enabling to exert stable vibration damping performance over a wide range of rotational speed regardless of environmental changes. A damper device attached to a rotating shaft to suppress amplitude at resonance of the rotating shaft, includes: a damper housing formed annularly and concentrically with the rotating shaft; a plurality of mass bodies annularly arranged around the rotation shaft inside of the damper housing and configured to be movable in the diameter direction by centrifugal force; an annular elastic body, formed of a circular spring-shaped elastic body abutting on the outside of the plurality of the mass bodies, so as to bias the mass body inward; and a biasing member, being a leaf spring-shaped elastic body abutting on the outside of the annular elastic body, so as to bias the annular elastic body inward.
DAMPER UNIT FOR AN ELEVATOR
A damper unit for an elevator, for the purpose of reducing vertical vibration of a stopping elevator car, has at least one roller that, in an active position, is in contact with a guide rail for the elevator car and can be rotated about an axis of rotation. For damping rotary movements during vertical vibration of the stopping elevator car, the roller is connected to a rotation damper.
DYNAMIC VIBRATION ABSORBING DEVICE
A dynamic damper device for absorbing a torsional vibration includes a rotary part, an inertia part, and an elastic part. The rotary part is a part to which the torsional vibration is transmitted, and is rotatable about a rotational center. The inertia part is provided on the rotary part so as to be movable in a radial direction with respect to the rotary part by a centrifugal force and be movable in a circumferential direction with respect to the rotary part by the torsional vibration. The elastic part couples the rotary part and the inertia part.
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A lock-up device includes an input-side rotary member, an output-side rotary member, an outer peripheral side torsion spring, a restriction member and a float member. The restriction member is attached to the output-side rotary member. The restriction member includes a first restriction part. The first restriction part is disposed at an interval from the output-side rotary member in an axial direction. The float member is rotatable relatively to the input-side rotary member and the output-side rotary member. An inner peripheral end of the float member is disposed between the output-side rotary member and the first restriction part in the axial direction.
Torsional Vibrating Damping Assembly, In Particular Mass Damper Unit
A torsional vibration damping arrangement, in particular mass damper subassembly, having a carrier which can be driven in rotation and a damper mass rotatably deflectable with respect to the carrier against the restoring action of a substantially radially extending damper spring. The damper spring is fixedly clamped in the damper mass and is supported or supportable with respect to the carrier for transmitting circumferential force. The damper spring is clamped between clamping elements arranged at both sides of the damper spring in circumferential direction.
Lock-up device for torque converter
A lock-up device for a torque converter is disposed between a front cover coupled to an engine-side member and a torque converter body and directly transmits a torque from the front cover to a turbine of the torque converter. The lock-up device includes a clutch portion to transmit the torque from the front cover to an output side. The lock-up device includes an intermediate member in a power transmission path between the clutch portion and the turbine. An input-side damper mechanism mounted between the clutch portion and the intermediate member attenuates variation in rotational speed. An output-side damper mechanism mounted between the intermediate member and the turbine generates a hysteresis torque larger than a hysteresis torque of the input-side damper mechanism and attenuates variation in rotational speed. The lock-up device also includes a dynamic damper device coupled to the intermediate member and that attenuates variation in rotational speed.
