VIBRATION ISOLATOR AND OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
Provided is a vibration isolator in which simplification of detachment work of a fixing component attached to a vibration isolating component enables the natural frequency of the entire support structure for a vibration source to be easily changed.
A vibration isolator includes a vibration isolating component including a rubber, which is an elastic body, the vibration isolating component supporting, in a housing having a slit, a support portion of a compressor as a vibration source that includes a motor and that is provided on a bottom plate of the housing; and a fixing component provided to pass through the slit and detachable from an outside of the housing, the vibration isolating component being fixed, in the housing, with the fixing component such that the fixing component is in contact with part of a periphery of a narrow portion of the vibration isolating component.
COIL SPRING AND CONNECTOR WITH A COIL SPRING
A coil spring has a longitudinal component located within the coil spring, where the longitudinal component runs generally along the direction of a longitudinal axis of the coil spring and where the longitudinal component is in contact with the coil spring, characterized in that the longitudinal component biases the coil spring into a shape different from its natural shape and/or from the shape into which the coil spring is biased by a groove in which the coil spring is accommodated. Moreover, the coil spring may be shaped by means of the described longitudinal component. Further, a connector part is disclosed that has the described coil spring and is configured for being connected with a mating connector part. And finally, a connector is disclosed which has the described connector part and the mating connector part.
DEVICE FOR ATTENUATING ENERGY
These teachings relate to a device that includes a base having an axis that is centered and perpendicular relative to the base and two or more arms each connected to the base at a base hinge The base hinge rotates the two or more arms away from the axis, and one or more expandable bands are connected with distal ends of the two or more arms. The one or more expandable bands absorb energy from rotating of the two or more arms. The device absorbs energy when an external force is applied along the axis of the base.
DAMPER, ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER, AND METHOD FOR COUPLING DAMPER
A damper is disposed in a holding hole that passes through, in a passing-through direction, a supported member that is supported by a supporting member. The dumper includes a tubular body defining therein a through hole extending in the passing-through direction. The tubular body is elastically deformable between a first form and a second form. The tubular body in the first form has an outer shape that is smaller than the holding hole. The tubular body in the second form has an outer shape that is equal to or greater than the holding hole.
SPRING-BIASED DISPENSING VALVE
A spring device for a valve unit for a beverage container includes at least one elastic element provided with a first terminal part associable with, or defining during use, a mobile head of the valve unit, and with a second terminal part associable during use with a support element provided in said valve unit. The elastic element is provided with at least one guide device directed in a direction of compression and release of said elastic element.
SHOCK ABSORBER
A protruding portion includes a fitting portion to which an outer periphery of a cylinder is fitted. When the cylinder and a closing member are assembled into an outer cylinder, a length from a contact portion to one end side end portion of the outer cylinder is longer than a length from the other end side end portion of the cylinder to one end side end portion on an outer peripheral side of the closing member. A length from one end side end surface of the protruding portion to the contact portion is longer than a difference between the length from the contact portion of a bottom portion to one end side end portion of the outer cylinder and the length from the other end side end portion of the cylinder to one end side end portion on the outer peripheral side of the closing member.
Damper with volume reducing insert
A shock absorber including a pressure tube, a piston assembly slidably disposed within the pressure tube, and a fluid transfer tube that extends about the pressure tube is provided. The piston assembly divides an inner volume of the pressure tube into first and second working chambers. An intermediate chamber between the pressure tube and the fluid transfer tube is arranged in fluid communication with the first working chamber. A valve assembly is disposed in fluid communication with the intermediate chamber and the second working chamber. The valve assembly controls fluid flow between the intermediate chamber and the second working chamber. At least part of the intermediate chamber is formed by a fluid transfer channel that extends longitudinally within the fluid transfer tube to provide a fluid flow path extending between the first working chamber and the valve assembly.
CONSTANT FORCE SPRING SYSTEM
A constant force spring system to achieve a substantially constant force curve, includes top and bottom load surfaces separated by a load compression distance therebetween; a main spring; at least one auxiliary linear spring acting on a last portion of the load compression distance to prevent load compression; a spreading linkage acting between the top load surface and the bottom load surface to prevent load compression thereof; and link hinges connecting the links, wherein the spreading linkage.
Switchable bearing bush for a motor vehicle
A bearing bush for a vehicle is disclosed. The bearing bush includes an inner ring, an outer ring, and an elastomer element between the inner and outer rings. An actuator is configured to cause an application of a force on the elastomer element in a radial direction against at least one of the inner ring and outer ring to alter the rigidity of the bearing bushing. This provides a system for mechanically altering the rigidity of the bearing bush, making the bearing bush switchable between at least two rigidity states.
COIL SPRING WITH A CLOSED LONGITUDINAL COMPONENT AND CONNECTOR WITH A COIL SPRING
A coil spring has longitudinal component, located within the coil spring, running along the direction of a longitudinal axis of the coil spring. The longitudinal component may be a simple loop or may bias the coil spring into a different shape. The longitudinal component may have a first end and a second end, which may be connected. The first end, second end and longitudinal component may be in the same plane throughout the length of the longitudinal component. The longitudinal component may have a first end equipped with a first locking element and second end equipped with a second locking element. The first locking element may comprise a recess for accommodating a second locking element. The longitudinal component may be a metal wire and/or formed as a single piece. The coil spring may be part of a connector part connected with a mating connector part.
