Locking isolator and method of isolating a system

A locking isolator includes one or more joints. The one or more joints are configured to transition between a clearance fit state and an interference fit state in response to a change in temperature. The locking isolator includes a dampener. The dampener is configured to attenuate transmission of vibration through the one or more joints when the one or more joints are in the clearance fit state.

Combined air spring system

A combined air spring system includes an upper cover plate, an air bag, an upper end plate and a lower end plate. An outer periphery of the upper cover plate is connected with an outer periphery of the upper end plate through the air bag. A low-position sand clock elastomer is connected between the upper end plate and the lower end plate. A pressing plate is installed at a bottom portion of the upper cover plate, and a high-position elastomer is connected between the upper cover plate and the pressing plate. A limiting table is arranged at a bottom portion of the pressing plate. A limiting groove is formed in a top face of the upper end plate. The limiting table is located in the limiting groove in a deflated state.

Hourglass type air spring assembly

An hourglass type air spring assembly includes an upper cover plate, an air bag, an upper end plate and a lower end plate. An outer periphery of the upper cover plate is connected with an outer periphery of the upper end plate through the air bag. A low-position hourglass elastomer and a high-position elastomer which are integrally formed are connected with each other between the upper end plate and the lower end plate. An annular notch is formed between the low-position hourglass elastomer and the high-position elastomer, and an annular rigid partition plate matched with the annular notch is arranged in the annular notch.

Air suspension arrangement

An air suspension arrangement arranged to be connected between a vehicle axle and a vehicle chassis of a vehicle includes a flexible bellows having an upper portion connectable to the vehicle chassis of the vehicle, and a bumper stop, wherein the air suspension arrangement further includes a polymer member arranged between the bumper stop and the flexible bellows for connecting the bumper stop to the flexible bellows. A method for manufacturing the air suspension arrangement and a vehicle including such an air suspension arrangement are also provided.

Pressure relief for air springs

An air spring assembly having pressure relief capability, where the air spring assembly includes a single air volume, or a multi-chamber air volume. When the air spring assembly is operating at a stiffer spring rate in combination with a setting to increase ground clearance, during certain road events, the air spring assembly is compressed, and the pressure in the air spring assembly increases. In order to not exceed the safe mechanical limits of the air spring assembly, the pressure is limited to a maximum value when full compression is achieved. The air spring assembly includes at least one valve, which is opened based on a cracking pressure, which is determined based on the mechanical limits of the air spring assembly. This facilitates the operation of the air spring assembly at settings to increase ground clearance of the vehicle, while allowing for pressure relief when the mechanical limit is reached.

Jounce bumper assemblies as well as gas spring assemblies including same

A jounce bumper assembly dimensioned for securement on or along an associated end member of an associated gas spring assembly. The jounce bumper assembly includes a bumper mount dimensioned for securement to the associated end member. A jounce bumper supported on the bumper mount for axial displacement therealong. A biasing element is disposed peripherally about the bumper mount and positioned axially between the jounce bumper and the associated end member. The biasing element has a fully-compressed, solid height that is operative to maintain the jounce bumper assembly in axially-spaced relation to the associated end member under a full jounce load condition. Gas spring assemblies including such a jounce bumper assembly, and suspension systems including one or more of such gas spring assemblies are also included.

COMBINED AIR SPRING SYSTEM

A combined air spring system includes an upper cover plate, an air bag, an upper end plate and a lower end plate. An outer periphery of the upper cover plate is connected with an outer periphery of the upper end plate through the air bag. A low-position sand clock elastomer is connected between the upper end plate and the lower end plate . A pressing plate is installed at a bottom portion of the upper cover plate, and a high-position elastomer is connected between the upper cover plate and the pressing plate. A limiting table is arranged at a bottom portion of the pressing plate. A limiting groove is formed in a top face of the upper end plate. The limiting table is located in the limiting groove in a deflated state.
