Shock Absorber with Multiple Damping Laws
The present invention relates to a shock absorber with multiple damping laws including a regulating body with a primary valve and a secondary valve, and an activating shaft with a plurality of channels, the activating shaft being housed in an axial orifice of a piston pin that incorporates a plurality of orifices intended to align by rotation of the activating shaft with the channels to determine a damping law and, with the second orifice in direct communication with the regulating body, wherein the regulating body includes a floating piston that has a toroidal configuration and is made of an elastic material, so that it gradually transfers a force to the primary valve depending on the pressure to which it is subjected.
BICYCLE SUSPENSION COMPONENTS
Example bicycle suspension components are described herein. An example suspension component includes an air spring including an air spring body and a piston in the air spring body. The piston divides the air spring body into a first chamber and a second chamber. The air spring also includes a shaft extending into the air spring body. The shaft extends through the piston. The piston is slidable along the shaft. The air spring further includes a spring to bias the piston in a first direction relative to the shaft.
Treadmill with vertically displaceable platform
A treadmill has a base with a vertically displaceable platform. A mechanism is provided that resists the downward movement of the platform in response to a load applied to the platform. The mechanism also rebounds the platform upwardly with a force applied to the platform in response to a decrease of a load on the platform. A support structure enables stable vertical positioning of the platform with respect to the base.
HYDRAULIC BUFFER ASSEMBLY
A hydraulic buffer assembly for use in a paint gun includes a sealed housing having first and second ends and an interior including a chamber containing a hydraulic fluid. A piston assembly including at least one piston rod and a piston head is axially movable through the interior of the housing, wherein the piston head includes at least one orifice through which hydraulic fluid flows when the piston assembly is moved under load. The buffer assembly is configured to decrease or slow the firing rate of an automatic paint gun.
SYSTEM CENTER/INNER TUBE WITH O-RING SEAL
A vibration damper for a vehicle may include an outer tube, a middle tube, and an inner tube arranged coaxially. The inner tube is at least partially filled with damping medium, and a piston rod is arranged in the inner tube so as to be movable to and fro. A working piston arranged on the piston rod is movable with the piston rod. An inner chamber of the inner tube is divided by the working piston into a rod-side working chamber and a rod-remote working chamber, with a connecting element being arranged between the inner tube and the middle tube on each side of a middle tube opening facing tube ends of the middle tube. The connecting element may include a radially circumferential sealing element that seals a middle tube balancing chamber against an outer tube balancing chamber at least with respect to the damping medium.
REGRESSIVE HYDRAULIC DAMPER
A damper of shock and vibration. In one embodiment there is a hydraulic damper with a regressive damping characteristic in both compression and extension, such that damping forces decrease with increased stroking velocity within a predetermined range of stroking velocity. Outside of this range, damping forces are progressive, such that the damping force increases with increased stroking velocity. In another embodiment, there is a hydraulic damper with a second, slidable piston within one of the internal chambers defined by the main piston. This secondary piston is spring loaded and hydraulically latchable at either a first position or a second position based on the pressure differential across the main piston.
DEVICE MOUNTING STRUCTURE
A device mounting structure for mounting a load maintaining mechanism on a hydraulic cylinder, a pipe for suppling and discharging working oil to and from the hydraulic cylinder being connected to the load maintaining mechanism such that the working oil is led thereto, includes a single coupling portion that includes a screw hole and is provided on the hydraulic cylinder, and a bracket to which the load maintaining mechanism is fixed, the bracket being coupled to the coupling portion via a first screw member that is screwed into the screw hole, wherein the bracket includes a first through hole through which the first screw member is passed so as to leave a gap in a radial direction.
IMPACT ENERGY ABSORBING DEVICE
A device having two glands leading a piston rod the glands being located at one side of a piston, whereas an inner gland divides the chamber inside the closed cylinder into a working chamber limited axially by an inner surface of a bottom and into a lubricating chamber limited axially by the inner surface of the outer gland. The working chamber has a flow zone shaped as the cylinder with its inner diameter increased, placed adjacent to the inner gland, as well as the compression zone, whereas the inner diameter of the cylinder is slidingly fitted with the outer diameter of the piston.
Vibration damper for vehicles, a piston rod, a piston rod attachment and a method for fixing an attachment element on a piston rod of a vibration damper, in particular for vehicles
A vibration damper may comprise a damper tube filled at least partially with damping liquid. A piston rod is movable to and fro in the damper tube, and a working piston is movable with the piston rod. The working piston may divide an interior space of the damper tube into a piston rod-side working space and a working space distal the piston rod. A piston rod attachment may include an attachment element, a bracing element, and a wedge element. On a side that faces away from the working piston, the piston rod may have a wedge element cut-out for partially receiving the wedge element in a braced state. The attachment element may be connected to the bracing element such that the attachment element braces the bracing element with respect to the piston rod via the wedge element arranged in the wedge element cut-out.
