Constraint mechanisms, systems, and methods

A tool includes a transmission mechanism, a shaft rotatable relative to the transmission mechanism, and a stop mechanism associated with the shaft, the stop mechanism being transitionable between a first state and a second state. In the first state, the shaft is free to rotate in a first direction and in a second direction opposite to the first direction. In the second state, the shaft is constrained from rotating in one of the first direction or the second direction by a defined first endpoint of a range of rotational motion of the shaft. Devices and methods relate to rotation stop mechanisms.

Track system with a support member

A support member may be connectable in a removable and adjustable manner to a track assembly. The support member may include an electrical connector, a contact, and a biasing member. The electrical connector may be adjustable to a first position and a second position. The contact may be connected to the electrical connector and configured to engage a conductor of said track assembly. The contact may be engageable with said conductor when the electrical connector is in the first position. The contact may not be engageable with said conductor when the electrical connector is in the second position. The biasing member may be configured to bias the contact into engagement with said conductor when the electrical connector is in the first position.

An active accelerator pedal for a vehicle includes a pedal unit and an actuator unit. The pedal unit includes a pedal that is pivotable about a pivot axis. The actuator unit includes an electrical device and a worm gear positioned between the electrical drive and the pedal unit. The worm gear includes a worm and a driven worm element. The actuator unit is configured to apply a counterforce in a direction opposite to a pedal force exerted on the pedal.

Building closure operator

A building closure operator includes an operator arm pivotable about an arm axis from an arm closed position to an arm open position, an arm lock actuatable to lock the arm in different locked positions and releasable to release the arm, and an articulatable lever pivotable about a lever axis parallel to the arm axis, from a lever home position corresponding to the arm closed position, to a lever actuated position corresponding to the arm open position. The lever includes a lever coupling maintainable in the lever actuated position, and a lever handle pivotable with respect to the lever coupling back to the home position to actuate the arm lock to lock the arm in one of the different locked positions.

A control module of a window shade includes a drive axle affixed with a sleeve, an arrester assembled around the sleeve, a cord drum connected with an operating cord, a clutch operable to couple and decouple the cord drum with respect to the drive axle, and a release unit including a stick that is operatively connected with the arrester. The arrester blocks rotation of the drive axle in a locking state, and has an unlocking state allowing rotation of the drive axle. The operating cord is pulled to drive the cord drum in rotation and turn the clutch to a coupling state, such that the rotation of the cord drum is transmitted through the clutch to drive the drive axle in rotation for raising the shading structure. Moreover, the stick is operable to switch the arrester from to the unlocking state for lowering the shading structure by gravity action.

GEAR REDUCER AND GEARMOTOR

A gear reducer has a helical gear, an eccentric shaft that is joined to the helical gear and has a first supporting portion that is offset in a rotation radial direction with respect to a rotation shaft of the helical gear, and a slider plate that is disposed at a radial direction outer side of the eccentric shaft. Further, the gear reducer has a transmitting gear that is supported at a first supporting portion, and whose rotation around its own axis is restricted due to the transmitting gear being engaged with the slider plate, and that revolves due to the helical gear rotating together with the eccentric shaft, and has an output gear body that rotates due to the transmitting gear revolving. The transmitting gear has a pair of restricting projections that project-out toward the slider plate side, and the slider plate is disposed between the pair of restricting projections.

The grabber assembly includes first and second arms with proximal end portions and distal end portions, hooks disposed at the distal end portions, and a mechanical linkage disposed near the proximal end portion of the first arm and the second arm. The mechanical linkage kinematically couples the first arm to the second arm. Displacement of the first arm or the second arm against the object causes movement of the mechanical linkage and thus movement of the second arm or first arm, respectively.
