Method for protecting from damage during transport of transmissions

A method for protecting transmissions against damage during transport, in that at least one transmission component located in the force flow is braced in itself. Thereafter, transporting the transmission to a desired site and then removing the brace to free the drive input and the drive output shafts.

Hybrid module shipping strap

A shipping strap for a hybrid module includes a first annular surface, a second annular surface, and a central bore. The first annular surface includes a first orifice for receiving a first fastener for fixing the shipping strap to a hybrid module housing, or receiving a dowel pin for radially positioning the shipping strap relative to the hybrid module housing. The second annular surface includes a second orifice for receiving a second fastener for securing the shipping strap to a rotor for an electric machine to axially position the rotor in the hybrid module housing. In some example embodiments, the shipping strap has a through bore aligned with the central bore, and a lifting element installed in the through bore for installing the hybrid module in a multi-speed transmission. In an example embodiment, the lifting element is installed in the through bore by a threaded connection.

A tensioning device (1) for tensioning a traction mechanism of a traction mechanism drive, including a housing (2), a piston (3) that is mounted such that the piston can be displaced in an axial direction inside the housing (2), and a transport securing element (4), which in at least one transport position of the tensioning device (1) is arranged in the housing (2) transversely to the piston (3) and in abutment with the piston (3) such that a displacement of the piston (3) in at least one first axial direction is blocked. The transport securing element (4) is provided with a support portion (5), wherein in the transport position at least one first web area (6) of the support portion (5) is in abutment with one end face (7) of the piston (3), and an additional web area (8) of the support portion (5) extending in an axial direction away from the first web area (6) is supported in the housing (2), at least in a radial direction.

MOBILE BODY POSITIONING STATION AND MOBILE BODY POSITIONING SYSTEM

A mobile body positioning station and a mobile body positioning system include a first partition, a second partition disposed along a direction intersecting an extending direction of the first partition, and a guide device as a guide disposed on a movement path of a robot as a mobile body. The guide device is disposed along an oblique direction with respect to the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the first partition to extend from the first partition toward the second partition side. The guide device is configured to make the robot move in the oblique direction more easily than move in directions other than the oblique direction, and the guide device moves the robot along the first partition toward the second partition.

Integrated gearbox lockout device

Methods and systems are described for a gearbox lockout device. It may be desirable in certain vehicles to lock a drive shaft within a gearbox for a period of time. Lockout embodiments under the present disclosure include a shaft configured to selectively engage the drive shaft via teeth. An inner and outer collar surrounding the shaft can be manipulated to restrict the movement of the shaft once the shaft's teeth are engaged with the teeth of the drive shaft. The system can be torqued up and locked in place. This can allow for more safe transporting of the vehicle, easier maintenance, or other advantages.
