A transmission for a vehicle includes a knob configured to be rotated to select one of a plurality of shift stages, a driving unit for controlling rotation of the knob, and a shift controller for applying an electrical current to generate a torque in the driving unit. Further, the driving unit includes a magnetic field generator, a magnetization unit including a plurality of magnetic bodies arranged at regular intervals along a circumference of the magnetic field generator, and a magnet unit including at least one pair of magnetic poles arranged along a circumference of the magnetization unit. In particular, the magnetization unit or the magnet unit is coupled with the knob and rotates integrally with the knob. Depending on an intensity of a magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generator, the driving unit allows or prevents the rotation of the knob.

A mechanical creeper mode selection system for a transmission of a work vehicle is provided, in which the transmission includes one or more range modes having one or more range mode shift mechanisms each driven by an electrohydraulic circuit. The system includes a creeper mode selection lever movable by an operator to select a creeper gear range. The system also includes a sensor that observes a position of the creeper mode selection lever and generates sensor signals based thereon. The system includes a controller that processes the sensor data to determine a movement of the creeper mode selection lever and outputs one or more control signals to the electrohydraulic circuit to position the one or more range mode shift mechanisms in a range neutral mode based on the movement of the creeper mode selection lever.

Shift control system for automatic transmission

A shift control system for an automatic transmission is provided. The system includes a shift switch through which a manual transmission command for arbitrarily changing a gear stage of the automatic transmission can be inputted in a manual transmission mode. The manual transmission mode includes a first manual mode in which the gear stage is changed and maintained by inputting the manual transmission command using the shift switch, and a second manual mode in which an automatic transmission mode is resumed by satisfying a resuming condition after the gear stage is changed. The system includes a mode input device configured to select in advance one of the first manual mode and the second manual mode to be set, the mode input device setting to the automatic transmission mode by the selected mode being changed from the first manual mode to the second manual mode, or vice versa.

METHOD FOR AVOIDING ACTIVATION OF A SAILING FUNCTIONALITY, A TRANSMISSION SYSTEM AND A VEHICLE COMPRISING A TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

A transmission system avoids activation of a sailing functionality in a vehicle. The transmission system is configured for automatic gear-shifting in an automatic mode and manual gear-shifting by a user in a manual mode. The transmission system includes a user input device configured for manually changing the operational mode between the automatic and manual modes. The transmission system includes a transmission control unit for determining a recommended gear in the automatic and manual modes. In the manual mode, an operating gear of the transmission system is detected by the transmission control unit. A change of the operational mode from manual to automatic by means of the user input device is detected, and if the detected operating gear in the manual mode when changing to automatic mode is lower than the recommended gear, the sailing functionality in the automatic mode is deactivated.

System of and method for recovering energy and providing power in a multi-source transmission assembly

Described herein relates to a system of and method for recovering energy and providing power in a multi-source transmission assembly, in which the transmission assembly includes secondary power sources in combination with a primary power source, where the secondary power sources are in reverse rotation with respect to the primary power source, such that energy is recovered during deceleration or the secondary power sources power the vehicle as needed. During the translation of a vehicle employing the transmission assembly, at least one motor may function, as needed, to propel the vehicle forward. During times in which the vehicle may not positively accelerating, at least one of the motors may switch to a generator mode to generate energy to be stored in a vehicle battery. As such, at least one of the motor power sources may recover an amount of energy expended by the vehicle during acceleration.

Transmission selector for vehicles

The disclosure provides a transmission selector for a vehicle. The transmission selector for a vehicle includes: a transmission selector element including a first switch and a second switch, and a control circuit. When the vehicle speed is equal to or less than a first threshold, the control circuit switches the current gear to D in response to the selection operation received by the first switch, and the control circuit switches the current gear to R in response to the selection operation received by the second switch. When the vehicle speed is equal to or less than the first threshold and the vehicle meets the specified conditions, the control circuit controls the vehicle to switch the current gear in response to a long-press operation whose execution of the selection operation received by the first switch or the second switch reaches a first specified time.

Shift control system for automatic transmission

A shift control system for an automatic transmission is provided, which is mounted on a vehicle configured to be started by an ignition switch being turned on, where an automatic transmission mode or a manual transmission mode is selectively set.
