CONTROL DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD OF CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
Disclosed is lateral pressure control of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with a transmission ratio changed by changing groove widths of a drive pulley and a driven pulley, a drive force from a drive source being transmitted to a wheel. A control part controlling respective lateral pressures of the drive pulley and the driven pulley is provided. The control part sets an increase correction amount of the lateral pressure of the drive pulley to a first lateral pressure increase correction amount if the CVT is not in an in-gear state or a shift position is consistent with a traveling direction of the vehicle, and, sets said amount to a second lateral pressure increase correction amount smaller than the first lateral pressure increase correction amount if the CVT is in the in-gear state and the shift position is not consistent with the traveling direction of the vehicle.
Method of controlling a variator
A method of controlling a variator that requires clamping pressure between a first component and a second component to transfer torque therebetween, such as a continuously variable transmission, includes calculating a theoretical clamping pressure, and multiplying the theoretical clamping pressure by a multiplier to define a commanded clamping pressure. The multiplier includes a value that is variable between a minimum multiplier value and a maximum multiplier value. The value of the multiplier is based on current operating conditions of the variator. The commanded clamping pressure is applied to the first component and the second component to generate friction and transfer torque between the first component and the second component.

Shift control device
A shift control device has stepless and stepped shift modes in which a transmission gear ratio of a continuously variable transmission is controlled in stepless and stepwise fashions, respectively, and includes a shift controller that switches the shift mode to the stepless shift mode by executing shift control of the transmission if an accelerator-pedal operated amount falls below a switch threshold during the stepped shift mode, a minimum value detector that detects an operated-amount minimum value in a shift process of switching the shift mode to the stepless shift mode, and an upper-limit-value setting unit that sets an upper limit value for engine rotational acceleration based on a difference between the operated amount and the minimum value in the shift process. In the shift process, the shift controller limits the rotational acceleration to the upper limit value or lower by limiting a shift rate when the transmission is downshifted.
Control device and control method for vehicle including continuously variable transmission
A controller changes a shift line of the continuously variable transmission to a high rotation side when execution of automatic brake is detected during sailing stop which stops the engine while driving the vehicle.
CONTROL METHOD FOR POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE, AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A control method for a power transmission device includes: determining whether a difference between an actual speed ratio of a variator and a speed ratio at which a movable pulley contacts a stopper is equal to or less than a predetermined value; and performing a switching of a switching valve when being determined that the difference is equal to or less than the predetermined value.
Method of controlling driving of CVT vehicle during cornering
A method of controlling driving of a CVT vehicle during cornering performed by a controller, may include determining whether it is necessary to perform an auxiliary control process to enhance a re-acceleration response after entering the corner, by determining a travelling state of the vehicle; setting a target gear ratio instead of a gear ratio obtained based on a shift pattern when the determining produces an affirmative result indicating that it is necessary to perform the auxiliary control process; and performing gear shifting of a CVT to follow the target gear ratio set in the setting of the gear ratio.

Continuously variable transmission control method and continuously variable transmission system
A continuously variable transmission control method for controlling entry and exit of oil in a primary pulley oil chamber by an electric oil pump disposed in an oil path between the primary pulley oil chamber and a secondary pulley oil chamber, the control method including: comparing a temperature of the electric oil pump with a first threshold; and restricting a shift amount of a continuously variable transmission when the temperature of the electric oil pump is higher than the first threshold.
