GEARWHEEL BODY OF ROBUST LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION FOR ELECTRIC DRIVES
A gearwheel body of structure-borne sound-reducing lightweight construction for electric drives in which shifting of the contact pattern of the wheel body under load is minimized in the case of a gearwheel body having a structured web extending substantially within a radial plane between a shaft seat and a toothed ring. The web has spiral structures that are thickened in a rib-like manner, and the spiral structures are aligned in such a way that their spiral shape meets at least the toothed ring at an oblique angle.

High efficiency, high output transmission having an aluminum housing
A transmission includes an input shaft coupled to a prime mover, a countershaft, main shaft, and an output shaft, with gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. A shift actuator selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft by rotatably coupling gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. The shift actuator is mounted on an exterior wall of a housing including the countershaft and the main shaft. An integrated actuator housing includes a single external power access for the shift actuator. A controller interprets a shaft displacement angle, determines if the transmission is in an imminent zero or zero torque region, and performs a transmission operation in response to the transmission in the imminent zero or zero torque region.

Method for the assembly of or for preparing to assemble a traction drive module and a traction drive module
The present invention relates to a method for the assembly of or for preparing to assemble a traction drive module (10) in a drivetrain (2) with the method steps: providing a traction drive module (10) having a transmission housing (18) in which are arranged a first gear wheel (40) rotatably mounted on the transmission housing (18), a second gear wheel (48) arranged at a center-to-center distance (58) to the first gear wheel (40), and a traction means (46) via which the first and second gear wheel (40, 48) are in rotary driving connection with one another; attaching an assembly aid (16) acting between the second gear wheel (48) and the transmission housing (18) and detachable from the traction drive module (10); and changing the center-to-center distance (58) by moving the second gear wheel (48) relative to the transmission housing (18) while adjusting a predetermined tension of the traction means (46) by means of the detachable assembly aid (16). In addition, the present invention relates to a traction drive module (10).

Assembly for mounting a wheel to a portal gear box of an off-road vehicle
A vibration-reducing portal box assembly for mounting a wheel of an off-road vehicle includes a housing with a receptacle adapted to receive a stock axle shaft of an off-road vehicle, an output shaft operably connectable to a stock axle received in the housing and effective to rotate upon rotation of said stock axle, and a wheel hub having a central opening adapted to receive said output shaft, and adapted to turn a wheel mounted to said wheel hub upon rotation of said output shaft. The output shaft has a tapered portion connecting its proximal end to its distal end. The wheel hub has a tapered portion adapted to matingly receive the tapered portion of the output shaft. The output shaft may be connected to the stock axle shaft by a geared linking mechanism.
