Method for controlling EOP of hybrid vehicle

A method for controlling an electric oil pump (EOP) of a hybrid vehicle may include determining whether or not the hybrid vehicle is in a decelerating situation in an EV mode, driving the EOP at an RPM at a point L, corresponding to a minimum RPM of the EOP to form a target line pressure of a transmission, upon determining that the hybrid vehicle is decelerating in the EV mode, determining whether or not an RPM of a turbine is equal to or greater than a predetermined reference RPM, and driving the EOP at an RPM acquired by adding a predetermined additional RPM to secure an additional flow rate of automatic transmission fluid supplied to a balance chamber of an engine clutch to the RPM at the point L, upon determining that the RPM of the turbine is equal to or greater than the predetermined reference RPM.

An electric oil pump includes: a pump unit 2, rotating to make oil flow; a motor 3 driving the pump unit; a control unit 4 exerting driving control on the motor; and a housing 1 accommodating the pump unit, the motor, and the motor control unit. In the electric oil pump, the motor control unit 4 directly receives detection information of a temperature sensor 5 detecting a temperature of the oil and exerts driving control on the motor based on the detection information.

Transfer Case with Oil Distribution

A transfer case comprises a primary output shaft, a secondary output shaft, a clutch, and a plurality of valves. The primary output shaft includes a hub rotationally coupled thereto. The clutch is selectively couples the primary output shaft to the secondary output shaft to transfer torque therebetween. The clutch includes a housing, interleaved plates, and an apply plate. The housing is rotationally coupled to the secondary output shaft. The interleaved plates alternate between a first subset of the interleaved plates rotationally coupled to the hub, and a second subset of the interleaved plates rotationally coupled to the housing. The apply plate compresses the interleaved plates for transferring torque between the hub and the housing. The valves selectively release oil supplied through the primary output shaft into the housing. Each valve includes a bore formed in the hub and a valve rod movable by the apply plate to open the valve.

Bicycle lubricant

A bicycle chain lubricant that may be applied as a coating on a bicycle chain is a crystalline solid at ambient temperatures, yet when the chain is in motion the forces around internal components locally transforms the coating to a lubricous fluid. This increases chain efficiency in the drive train and reduces ware by limiting water and dirt access to chain internal components.

Method for supplying consumers of an oil supply system for a vehicle transmission with oil

An oil supply system for a vehicle transmission includes a pump drivable by two drive sources, and a hydraulic control unit including multiple control valves for distributing oil to consumers of the oil supply system. The drive power of the two drive sources are combined by a planetary gear set having an element connected to a pump drive shaft of the pump. A method for supplying the consumers of the oil supply system includes determining an overall oil flow requirement in the oil supply system and an oil flow requirement of consumers in an oil supply circuit of the transmission. The method further includes calculating a drive parameter for at least one of the two drive sources based at least in part on the oil flow requirements. Additionally, the method includes outputting the drive parameter as a specified value for controlling the at least one of the two drive sources.

A pump system for a motor vehicle having a first pump and a second pump which can be driven by an electric motor and/or an internal combustion engine, wherein the first pump and the second pump can be coupled by a clutch. A method of operating a pump system in a motor vehicle includes driving a first pump and a second pump by an electric motor and/or an internal combustion engine by coupling the first pump and a second pump.

OIL PRESSURE SUPPLY DEVICE

An oil pressure supply device supplies, to an oil chamber, an oil pressure generated by suctioning oil from an oil source with an oil pump. The oil pressure supply device includes a first oil passage connected to a suction side of the oil pump; a first check valve provided in the first oil passage and configured to close the first oil passage and prevent oil from moving to the oil source side when the oil pump is stopped; a second oil passage connected to a discharge side of the oil pump; and a second check valve provided in the second oil passage and configured to close the second oil passage and prevent oil from moving to the oil pump side when the oil pump is stopped.
