PTO lubrication system for hybrid vehicles

A vehicle drive system includes a first prime mover, a transmission, a power take-off (PTO), a lubrication system for the transmission and the PTO, and a control system. The transmission is powered by the first prime mover. The transmission is configured to rotate a drive shaft of the vehicle. The PTO is connected to the transmission at a first interface. The PTO includes the first interface and a second interface. The control system is configured to control fluid flow through the lubrication system for at least one mode where the input section of the PTO is stationary and the output section rotates.

POWER ASSEMBLY AND VEHICLE

A power assembly and a vehicle. The power assembly includes a housing, and a first drive motor, a first speed reducer, a first oil path, a second drive motor, a second speed reducer, a second oil path, and a third oil path that are located inside the housing. The power assembly further includes a first oil pump and a second oil pump. The housing is provided with an oil pan. The first drive motor includes a first stator and a first rotor. The second drive motor includes a second stator and a second rotor. Both the first oil pump and the second oil pump are connected to the oil pan. The power assembly simplifies the oil paths in the housing and improve an integration level.

Gear unit

A gear unit to be mounted in a vehicle includes a housing for storing oil, a partition disposed inside the housing, and a helical gear. The partition defines first and second oil chambers and has a through-hole allowing the first oil chamber to communicate with the second oil chamber. The helical gear disposed inside the first oil chamber rotates during running of the vehicle and has an angled tooth that draws inner and addendum circles defining a virtual circumferential plane. The through-hole coincides with a portion of the virtual circumferential plane in a direction parallel to a central axis of the helical gear. When the helical gear rotates in conjunction with the running of the vehicle, the oil flows from the second oil chamber into the first oil chamber so that an oil level of the first oil chamber becomes higher than that of the second oil chamber.

Driving system having oil circulation structure

Disclosed is a driving system having an oil circulation structure in which churned oil is collected in a housing and in which the collected oil is efficiently distributed to driving structures, which include a motor and a speed reducer, thereby smoothly cooling and lubricating the respective driving structures. In addition, it is possible to adjust the level of the oil depending on whether the driving structures are in a low-load state or a high-load state, thereby improving lubrication and cooling performance.

ELECTRIC POWERTRAIN FOR TRUCK

A powertrain assembly includes one or several electric motors, a gearbox comprising a gearbox housing, an axle comprising: an axle housing, movable parts inside axle housing, comprising a shaft for a wheel, a lubricating system comprising an axle lubricating device comprising an axle oil sump and a gearbox lubricating device comprising a gearbox oil sump inside the gearbox housing which is a dry sump having an oil storage area which is separate from said gearbox oil sump, a scavenge pump and a first duct configured to retrieve oil from gear box oil sump and to convey the retrieved oil up to the oil storage area, and a main pump and a second duct configured to convey oil from the storage oil area to lubricate the gears of the gearbox.

WORK VEHICLE

There is provided a work vehicle including a partition wall to keep partition between a first space zone as part of an internal space of the transmission case in which a differential mechanism is located and a second space zone as part of the internal space which is adjacent to the first space zone. An upper space is disposed above the partition wall and configured to allow lubricating oil scooped up from the first space zone by a ring gear to flow in the second space zone. A flow-out path is disposed below the upper space and configured to allow the lubricating oil to flow out of the second space zone to the first space zone.

Lubricating structure for vehicle drive system

A partition wall that partitions an inside of a case into a gear chamber in which a reduction gear pair is accommodated and a motor chamber in which an electric motor is accommodated, a bearing provided at a bearing support portion of the partition wall so as to overlap with a side portion of a large-diameter gear of the reduction gear pair in a direction of an axis and supporting a counter shaft, an oil passage provided in the gear chamber and guiding lubricating oil, scooped up by the large-diameter gear to a catch tank, and a communication hole provided in the partition wall and providing communication between the oil passage and the motor chamber, are provided. Lubricating oil introduced into the motor chamber via the communication hole is supplied to the bearing.

Since an oil level of oil in a first space housing a transmission mechanism is lower than an oil level of the oil in a second space housing a differential gear, not only is it possible to lubricate a drive pinion and a ring gear housed in the second space with a sufficient amount of oil while cutting the total amount of oil compared with a case in which the oil levels of the first space and the second space are both high, but it is also possible to reduce the resistance of oil to stirring in the second space by discharging excess oil building up in the second space to the first space via a second oil passage formed along an axial center of a pinion shaft, and to prevent the oil level of the first space from decreasing excessively, thus avoiding aeration of an oil pump.
