UNIT-TYPE STRAIN WAVE GEARING
20220364635 · 2022-11-17 · ·

This unit-type strain wave gearing is provided with a cross-roller bearing that supports an internally toothed gear and an externally toothed gear in a relatively rotatable manner, wherein a meshing portion between the two gears is lubricated by a grease. In the outer circumference of the externally toothed gear, a gap is formed which communicates with the meshing portion and a raceway groove of the cross-roller bearing. A portion of the grease pressed out from the meshing portion to the gap flows out through a through-hole formed in the internally toothed gear, and flows back to the meshing portion. The grease can be suppressed from leaking to the outside of the unit from an oil seal of the cross-roller bearing.

In some embodiments, the drivetrain system includes a clutch assembly arranged between the first drive gear and the second drive gear that interfaces to the first drive gear and to the second drive gear. The clutch assembly allows the drive gears to be locked or otherwise engaged to improve torque transfer.

Cellulose-containing gear

A gear is provided that has excellent continuous moldability for practical use, and both high slidability and high durability. The provided gear is a molded resin constructed of a resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) and cellulose nanofibers (B) with an average fiber diameter of 1000 nm or smaller, and having a number average molecular weight of the thermoplastic resin (A) in the range of 10,000 to 150,000, wherein a sliding surface of the gear with another gear teeth has an arithmetic mean surface roughness Sa of 3.0 .Math.m or lower.

A worm reducer includes: a housing including a wheel accommodating portion, and a worm accommodating portion; a worm wheel including wheel teeth disposed on an outer circumferential surface and rotatably supported inside the wheel accommodating portion; and a worm including worm teeth disposed on an outer circumferential surface to mesh with the wheel teeth and rotatably supported inside the worm accommodating portion, wherein a proximal end portion of the worm is connected to a drive shaft such that torque can be transmitted. An inner circumferential surface of the worm accommodating portion includes a housing side step surface which faces a proximal end side in an axial direction of the worm. An outer circumferential surface of the worm includes a worm side step surface which closely faces the housing side step surface in the axial direction at a portion axially deviated from a portion where the worm teeth are disposed.

Wave generator of strain wave gearing device

An outer-ring lubrication groove pattern formed in an outer-race raceway surface and an inner-race lubrication groove pattern formed in an inner-race raceway surface of a wave generator bearing of a strain wave gearing device are patterns in which linear lubrication grooves having very small widths and depths of several micrometers or less are arranged at fine pitches of several micrometers or less. The inner-race lubrication groove pattern includes a second groove pattern formed in long-axis-side inner-race raceway surface portions to hold the lubricant, and a first groove pattern formed in short-axis-side inner-race raceway surface portions to hold the lubricant and guide the lubricant to the second groove pattern. This configuration improves the contact state between balls and the inner-race and outer-race raceway surfaces of the wave generator bearing, thus reducing the coefficient of friction therebetween.

SPEED REDUCER AND ACTUATOR

A speed reducer includes a sun gear, planetary gears, a fixed part, an output part, a first bearing, and a second bearing. The sun gear rotates relative to the fixed part at a first rotation speed. The planetary gears are disposed around the sun gear to engage with the sun gear. The output part includes an annular internal gear engaging with the planetary gears. The output part rotates relative to the fixed part at a second rotation speed lower than the first rotation speed. The first bearing is interposed between the fixed part and the output part at a position closer to an input side with respect to the planetary gears. The second bearing is interposed between the fixed part and the output part at a position closer to an output side with respect to the planetary gears. The second bearing is smaller in radial size than the first bearing.

A strain wave gearing device has a grease temperature control mechanism for controlling the grease temperature of a portion of grease, of the grease filled inside an externally toothed gear of the strain wave gearing device, the portion of the grease being disposed on the outer peripheral side portion of a wave generator. The grease temperature control mechanism has a circular heater facing the outer peripheral side portion of the wave generator over the entire circumference from a direction of a device central axis line. By controlling the grease temperature of a specified portion inside the externally toothed gear, it is possible to reliably start the strain wave gearing device even in an extremely low temperature environment where the grease solidifies.
