APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING GEAR SHIFT OF VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREOF
An apparatus of controlling a gear shifting of a vehicle, and a method thereof, to improving shift quality by minimizing the jerk generated in a shifting process of the vehicle, includes storage that stores a Gaussian process (GP) model on which machine learning is completed, and a controller that detects a change amount of engine torque and a change amount of an engagement-side clutch torque based on the GP model, and controls the gear shifting of the vehicle according to the change amount of the engine torque and the change amount of the engagement-side clutch torque.
FLUID ARRANGEMENT
A fluid assembly in a hydraulic circuit, comprising one or more reservoirs configured to store fluid. The fluid assembly also includes a pump configured to transport the fluid in the hydraulic circuit and actuate a load from a transmission of a motor vehicle, a pressure accumulator configured to collect pressure built up by the pump and actuate the load, and a valve system configured to allow fluid communication of the load with the pump.

METHOD OF DIAGNOSING MALFUNCTION IN DUAL CLUTCH TRANSMISSION
Disclosed is a method of diagnosing a malfunction in a dual clutch transmission (DCT) attributable to a gear synchromesh failure, without an output shaft speed sensor. The method includes: calculating, a difference (referred to as a first difference) between a first input shaft speed and the product of a wheel speed and a first gear ratio; a difference (referred to as a second difference) between a second input shaft speed and the product of a wheel speed and a second gear ratio; diagnosing a first input shaft as having a transmission gear synchromesh failure when the first difference is greater than a first reference value and the second difference is equal to or smaller than a second reference value; and performing control such that a gear shifting operation is performed using only a second input shaft when the first input shaft is diagnosed as having a transmission gear synchromesh failure.

Pulse start method for an internal combustion engine of a hybrid vehicle
A hybrid drive device has an internal combustion engine, a clutch transmission which has at least one free partial transmission and a partial transmission connected to an electric machine with in each case a clutch, and at least one electric machine. In order to start the internal combustion engine, pulse energy is provided from an inertia of the clutch associated with the free partial transmission and/or a rotation in the free partial transmission.
Method for suppressing noises in a dual clutch transmission for a motor vehicle, and dual clutch transmission for a motor vehicle
A method for suppressing noises in a dual clutch transmission, which has two partial transmissions and each partial transmission has at least two synchronizers, for a motor vehicle. A respective shaft of the respective partial transmission is to be synchronized by the respective synchronizer with a respective idler, which is arranged on the respective shaft and is associated with the respective synchronizer, of the respective partial transmission. To suppress noises, one of the synchronizers of one of the partial transmissions is actuated, while the one partial transmission is activated, the other partial transmission is deactivated, and the idler which is associated with the other synchronizer of the one partial transmission is connected in a rotationally-fixed manner to the shaft of the one partial transmission.

Line pressure control method for DCT
A line pressure control method for a double clutch transmission (DCT) includes estimating a line pressure, which decreases with stoppage of an electric oil pump, based on a linear regression model using state variables of the DCT that are related to a line pressure change, and driving the electric oil pump when the line pressure estimated based on the linear regression model reaches a predetermined lower limit.
