Method for Controlling a Gear Change in the Case of a Non-Synchronized Dog-Shift Transmission
A method is provided for controlling a gear change in the case of a non-synchronized dog-shift transmission having at least one shift fork controllable by way of a selector drum, wherein, by way of a position sensor on the selector drum, the rotational position of the selector drum is sensed and is transmitted to an electronic control unit for controlling a drive motor. By use of the sensed rotational position, the control unit detects whether the/a shift fork is in an intermediate position, in which none of the two possible gears associated with the shift fork is engaged. If the shift fork is in the intermediate position, the rotational speed of the drive motor is controlled to a middle value between the target rotational speeds of the two possible gears if in addition the clutch between the drive motor and the dog-shift transmission is open.
ENGINE OUTPUT CONTROL DEVICE
An engine output control device controls engine output at a time of a downshift speed change of a transmission. The engine output control device includes: engine speed detecting means for detecting an actual engine speed NeJ of a crankshaft; and engine output adjusting means capable of adjusting the engine output according to an operation of a rider. The smaller of a requested engine output PA calculated on a basis of the actual engine speed NeJ and a rider requested engine output PB adjusted by the engine output adjusting means is output as the engine output.
Shift selector device
A shift selector device includes an input member, a position setting mechanism and an activation controller. A selection operation of selecting a shift position is input to the input member. The position setting mechanism defines a movable range of the input member while supporting the input member in a displaceable manner. A plurality of the shift positions and at least one activation position linked to an automated travel system are disposed in the movable range. When the activation position is selected by displacement of the input member, the activation controller outputs an activation instruction for instructing a control function of the automated travel system linked to the activation position to be activated.

Work vehicle direct drive power system with torque control mode
A power system includes an engine; a sensor to determine an engine speed; and a transmission. The transmission includes an input element configured to receive the power from the engine as input torque; an output element configured to provide at least a portion the power from the engine as output torque; and a clutch arrangement to transform the input torque into output torque. The clutch arrangement includes at least one clutch selectively positionable between a fully engaged state, a partially engaged state in which a portion of the input torque is transformed into the output torque, and a fully disengaged state. A controller is coupled to the at least one clutch and configured to generate clutch commands based at least in part on the engine speed to position the at least one clutch into the fully engaged state, the partially engaged state, or the fully disengaged state.

Method for carrying out a shifting operation in a sequential manual transmission
A method for carrying out a shifting operation in a sequential manual transmission, in particular a shifting claw transmission, is provided. During the shifting operation, a maximum clutch torque that can be transmitted by a clutch arranged between an engine and a transmission input shaft is automatically reduced without completely disengaging the clutch, and a rider-required drive torque is maintained in a manner which reduces undesired jerking movement of the vehicle due to sudden full clutch actuation.
Control device for automatic transmission and control method for automatic transmission
A control device for an automatic transmission in a vehicle with a constant speed travel mode includes: a determination section that determines whether the vehicle is traveling on a slope road; a slope adaptation control section that implements a first transmission shift control if not traveling on a slope road and, if traveling on a slope road, implements a second transmission shift control for selecting a transmission shift position of a lower speed than case of not traveling on a slope road; a delaying section that, upon switching from the second transmission shift control to the first transmission shift control, implements an upshift delay control for performing upshift one by one at a predetermined time interval; and a setting section that, in case of traveling at the constant speed travel mode, sets the time interval shorter in comparison with case of traveling not at the constant speed travel mode.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
In a vehicle equipped with an engine and a shift control mechanism that switches a shift position by rotating a detent plate with an electric actuator, an electronic control device is an electronic control device including a reference position learning unit that executes a learning of a reference position of the actuator that serves as a reference for switching the shift control mechanism by the actuator when a starting condition that is set in advance is satisfied, and includes a drive wheel rotation suppression unit that suppresses a rotation of a drive wheel of the vehicle while the learning of the reference position is being executed by the reference position learning unit.
PRIMARY CLUTCH ELECTRONIC CVT
A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is provided for use on a recreational or utility vehicle. The CVT is electronically controlled by at least one control unit of the vehicle. The CVT includes a primary clutch having a first sheave and a second sheave moveable relative to the first sheave. An actuator controls movement of the second sheave.
