SEALING ELEMENT FOR A PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE AND PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

The invention relates to a sealing element (1) for a pressure sensor assembly (2) for a motor vehicle for crash detection with a pressure sensor unit (12) inside an assembly housing, wherein the pressure sensor unit (12) comprises a sensing element arranged inside a pressure sensor housing (11) for detecting an air pressure, and wherein the pressure sensor housing (11) has a pressure supply opening (13) for supplying the air pressure from a pressure inlet of the assembly housing to the sensing element. The sealing element (1) can be arranged between the pressure sensor housing (11) and an assembly housing wall, in order to seal the pressure supply opening (13) in relation to the inside of the assembly house, in such a way that the sealing element (1) encloses the pressure supply opening (13) and fluidically connects the pressure inlet with the pressure supply opening (13), wherein the sealing element (1) has a through-recess (3) running in an axial direction and a main body (4) having an outer wall (5) and an inner wall (6) surrounding the through-recess (3), as well as having a lower axial end (7) and an upper axial end (8), wherein the inner wall (6) of the main body (4) has a first wall section (9) widening towards the lower axial end (7), wherein the lower axial end (7) of the main body (4) faces the pressure sensor housing (11) in the assembled state, and wherein the first wall section (9) forms a contact surface (10) for contact with the pressure sensor housing (11), on which at least sections of the pressure sensor housing (11) rest in the assembled state. The invention also relates to a pressure sensor assembly (2) comprising a sealing element (1) of this type.

SEALING MEMBER AND PIPE JOINT

An inner ring 4 of a pipe joint 1 includes a cylindrical body portion 5 having a communication hole 5a for providing communication between flow passage holes 2c and 8a of a joint body 2 and a tube 8, and an annular primary sealing portion 11 projecting from a radially inner side of an axially outer end portion of the body portion 5 toward an axially outer side and to be press-fitted into an annular primary sealing groove 2d formed on the joint body 2. The primary sealing portion 11 is formed so as to be tapered from an axially inner end thereof toward an axially outer end thereof in an axial cross-sectional view, and has a flat surface 11c extending from a radially outer end 11b of the axially outer end thereof toward the radially inner side.

The present invention relates to a sealing member for a base station antenna and a base station antenna comprising the same as well as a method and device for manufacturing the sealing member. The sealing member (2) is flexible and resilient and is configured to form a seal between an open end (5) of a radome (3) and an end cap (1) of the base station antenna. The sealing member is an elongated sealing strip having two ends, wherein the two ends of the sealing member are lappable with each other, and the sealing member has a groove extending over its entire length, which groove is defined by two side limbs and a bottom limb connecting the two side limbs of the sealing member, wherein the groove is configured to engage with an edge of the open end (5) of the radome, and wherein the sealing member is configured to be received in an annular recess of the end cap (1) and isolate an interior of the radome (3) from the environment. The sealing member can be manufactured cheaply and can be flexibly applied to base station antennas with different sizes.

A plate-like base material is clamped between a first and a second split mold, and a gasket is fixed to a surface of the base material by injecting and filling a rubber-like elastic material into a cavity defined between the base material and the first split mold. An air vent is provided including an exhaust groove and an exhaust hole, the exhaust groove extending from the cavity toward an inner or outer peripheral side on a butting surface between the base material and the first split mold and partially opening in a circumferential direction of the cavity, the exhaust hole extending from the exhaust groove in a clamping direction of the first and second split molds. Air in the cavity is discharged through the air vent when the rubber-like elastic material is injected and filled into the cavity.
