20180010702 · 2018-01-11 ·

A check valve for a solenoid valve inclues a check valve seat that is arranged on an edge of a fluid passage and a movable closing element configured to execute a direction-oriented throughflow and sealing function. The closing element includes a sealing cone, a contact foot with a plurality of outflow grooves formed on the edge, and an elastic sealing ring that is arranged between the contact foot and the sealing cone. The outflow grooves form in each case a seating edge for the elastic sealing ring during sealing. The outflow grooves are configured in each case with an arcuate seating edge, which has a predetermined arc length, so that a circle segment of the elastic sealing ring, with an opening angle in the region of 40° to 120°, butts against the respective seating edge during sealing. A solenoid valve includes the check valve.

Non-Return Valve for a Solenoid Valve and Associated Solenoid Valve

A non-return valve for a solenoid valve includes a non-return valve seat and a movable closure element. The valve seat is arranged at an edge of a fluid channel. The movable closure element is configured to carry out a direction-orientated throughflow and sealing function. The closure element includes a sealing cone, an abutment base, and a resilient sealing ring. The sealing ring is arranged between the abutment base and the sealing cone. The abutment base forms, in the event of sealing, a support face for the resilient sealing ring. At an edge of the non-return valve seat there is a first support face which in the event of sealing forms with a second support face which is formed at the outer edge of the abutment base in the direction of the non-return valve seat a mechanical axial stop for the movable closure element.

Valves, valve assemblies and applications thereof

Valves and valve assemblies are described herein employing architectures which can mitigate degradative wear mechanisms, thereby prolonging life of the assembly. In one aspect, a valve comprises a head including a circumferential surface and a valve seat mating surface comprising sintered cemented carbide. Leg members extend from the head, wherein thickness of one or more of the leg members tapers in a direction away from the head to induce laminar fluid flow around the head. In some embodiments, the sintered cemented carbide is an inlay coupled to the valve head.

Tire valve assembly

A tire valve assembly includes a stem and a valve unit. The valve unit includes a movable part and a seal member. When introducing pressurized air into the tire valve assembly, the valve unit moves to a position in the stem to allow the pressurized air to flow into the tire. When the pressurized air is stopped from entering the tire valve assembly, the valve unit is pushed back by the pressure in the tire to seal the inlet so that the pressurized air in the tire does not leak to keep the tire pressure.

VALVE ASSEMBLIES AND RELATED METHODS FOR DEVIATED WELLS

Valve assemblies for reciprocating downhole pumps are provided. The valve assembly may comprise: a flow cage comprising a housing and a tubular insert; an annular valve seat positioned below the tubular insert; and an elongated sealing member positioned above the annular valve seat and at least partially received into the tubular insert. In some embodiments, the elongated sealing member may be more stable and may more securely engage the valve seat compared to spherical valve balls. Related methods are also provided.

Valve device

A valve device includes a body, a joint, a check valve, a valve seat fixation member having an outer peripheral surface on which an external thread is provided, and a sealing member. The body has an attachment hole that attaches the joint and the valve seat fixation member from an outside of the body in a sequence of the joint and the valve seat fixation member, and that has an inner peripheral surface in which an internal thread screwed to the external thread of the valve seat fixation member is provided. The sealing member is provided between the joint and the valve seat fixation member. An outer peripheral edge of the sealing member is located radially inward of a screwed region of the internal thread and the external thread.

Shutter Valves

A shuttle valve is disclosed. The shuttle valve comprises a valve body, a valve member, and a catch. The valve body comprises a first and a second fluid inlet, a central chamber, and a fluid outlet. The first and second fluid inlets and the fluid outlet open into the central chamber via a first and a second inlet mouth and an outlet mouth. The valve member is configured to move between a first and a second position, the valve member closes the first inlet mouth and allows fluid communication between the second inlet mouth and the outlet mouth when the valve member is in the first position, and the valve member closes the second inlet mouth and allows fluid communication between the first inlet mouth and the outlet mouth when the valve member is in the second position.

Valve arrangement, in particular a reflux valve with a pressed-in ball holder

A valve arrangement to allow a fluid flow in a first direction and block it in a second direction opposite the first direction. The valve arrangement includes: a fluid channel, a valve seat and a closing body arranged in the fluid channel. The closing body prevents fluid flow in the second direction when resting against the valve seat and allows fluid flow in the first direction when the closing body is lifted off the valve seat; a closing body holder in the fluid channel configured to restrict movement of the closing body in the first direction when the closing body is lifted off the valve seat. The closing body holder held on an inner circumferential wall of the fluid channel in a frictional fit and/or movable in the first direction in a position in which the closing body holder is held on an inner circumferential wall of the fluid channel.

PILOT CHECK VALVE

[Solution] A pilot check valve includes a first body that has input and output ports, a main path 13 that is in communication these ports, and a check valve element that allows a flow of a pressure fluid from the input port toward the output port. The valve element blocks or allows a flow toward the input port side by supply or discharge of a pilot fluid and has a residual pressure exhaust path connected between the main path and an exhaust hole, a seal member that is provided in the exhaust path, and a push rod that moves the check valve element to a position where a flow of a pressure fluid toward the input port side in the main path is allowed and moves the seal member to a position where a flow toward the exhaust hole is allowed.

Flow control valve

Flow control valves may be positioned downstream of water meters to increase pressure and compress entrained water vapour passing through the meters. However, turbulence within such valves can cause the valve's head to move radially, bending a shaft within the valve which may break. Accordingly, there is provided a flow control valve comprising: a housing having a flow passage; a valve seat defined within the flow passage; a valve head moveable to a closed position to engage the valve seat and seal the flow passage; a shaft secured to the valve head; a support slidingly mounting the shaft within the housing; a spring biasing the valve head to the closed position and configured to maintain the valve head in the closed position until a predetermined pressure is applied; and a guide assembly extending along at least a portion of the flow passage to constrain radial movement of the valve head.
