The slide valve includes a sleeve and a tactile feedback mechanism that is configured to provide tactile sensation when the sleeve is positioned in one of the open position and the closed position of the slide valve.

When the ball is toggled to an open position, the drain hole is positioned adjacent to a side wall of the valve body, such that the drain hole is capped off. When the ball is toggled to a closed position, the drain hole is positioned adjacent to the outlet, wherein residual liquid is expelled from the fluid conduit. The removal of residual liquid prevents excessive pressure buildup due to freezing liquid within the valve body.

Trunnion ball valve with controlled ball-seat engagement and disengagement

A trunnion ball valve provides a reliable seal when closed, while minimizing or eliminating frictional resistance during rotation of the ball. A pressurization chamber behind the upstream valve seat can be interconnected by one or more pressurization valves with either the upstream or the downstream process fluid. The interconnection can be via a single 3-way valve. When the valve is closed and the ball is fixed in orientation, the pressurization chamber is automatically connected to the upstream process fluid, thereby pressing the seat against the ball and ensuring a reliable seal. While the ball is being rotated, the pressurization chamber is automatically connected to the downstream process fluid, thereby substantially eliminating valve seat friction. Connection to the downstream process fluid can include connection to a small space in front of the upstream seat. An electronic controller can control both valve stem rotation and the pressurization valves.

The valve body includes a first connecting channel of arcuate shape for connecting two radially arranged port openings and a second connecting channel of arcuate shape for connecting a radially arranged port opening with an axially arranged port opening. The at least two radially arranged port openings define a base plane B, which is configured orthogonally to the axial axis of rotation R, and the first arcuate connecting channel defines a first connecting channel plane V.

A multi-fuel switching device, including a gas part, is provided. The gas part includes a switching valve. The switching valve includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet. An internal rotation of the housing is provided with a valve core located between the air inlet and the air outlet. The valve core is provided with a first airway and a second airway. Cross-sectional sizes of the first airway and the second airway are different. The first airway or the second airway is selected through rotating the valve core to connect the air inlet and the air outlet. The solution solves the issue that a fuel switching device in the prior art cannot adapt to three or more fuels, which causes an internal combustion engine to be unable to maintain the optimal working state.

An illustrative embodiment provides a valve coupling that is disposed through a wall of the meter box such that a first portion of the valve coupling extends exterior of the meter box and a second portion of the valve coupling extends interior of the meter box. An outlet coupling is disposed through the wall of the meter box such that a first portion of the outlet coupling extends exterior of the meter box and a second portion of the outlet coupling extends interior of the meter box. A telescoping tube is located in the meter box, extended into and movable relative to, and in fluid communication with, at least one of the second portion of the valve coupling and/or the second portion of the outlet coupling. The telescoping tube varies a distance between the valve coupling and the outlet coupling within the meter box.
