WATER CONTROL VALVE WITH OFFSET VALVE CORE
20230051152 · 2023-02-16 ·

A water control valve with offset valve core has a main body with a flowing slot, the circumferential wall of which is formed with a water inlet and outlet. An offset rotary valve core is configured offset inside the flowing slot and has a rotary shaft and a water stopping seat. The face of the water stopping seat faces the circumferential wall and has a sealing ring. When the water stopping seat rotates along with the offset rotary valve core and is aligned with the inlet, the sealing ring is pressed against the circumferential wall to close the inlet, thus forming the water stop mode. The rotary shaft and the circumferential wall of the flowing slot define a flowing space. The flow from the inlet must pass through the flowing space and exit through the outlet. A dialing component is used to connect and drive offset rotary valve core.

For example, there is a system including: a set rod having a first end and a second end, and a curved portion, in which the first end of the set rod is to be placed against a clapper inside the check valve; a first connecting nipple having a first end to thread into a ball drip outlet of the check valve and a second end to receive a rod locking component; the rod locking component having at least: (i) a first end to attach with the second end of the first connecting nipple, (ii) a second end, and (iii) a lock mechanism positioned in a center portion of the rod locking component to positionally fix the set rod in its position while placed against the clapper inside of the check valve; in which the first end of the set rod is to be positioned against the clapper inside the check valve, in which the set rod is fixed in its position by the lock mechanism of the rod locking component, and in which the set rod traverses through the ball drip outlet of the check valve into the first connecting nipple, through the first connecting nipple into the rod locking component, and egresses through the second end of the rod locking component. Other related embodiments are disclosed.

Hydraulic Low-Torque Valve Conversion Apparatus and Method

A conversion kit creates a redundant hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical control functionality for low-torque, quarter-turn plug valves in remote production environments (i.e., rural or subsea pipelines). The conversion kit comprises at least one custom end cap fitted to the valve and comprising a socket receiving a rotator attachment. Each rotator attachment is in turn connected to a crossover which connects to a bracket remotely actuated via hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical control. The linear movement of the bracket and the attached crossover[s] is converted to rotational force which is transmitted through the rotator attachments to the at least one valve.

Rotary Plug Valve with Labyrinth
20230100721 · 2023-03-30 ·

A rotary valve has a valve plug that is rotatable in a valve body about a rotational axis. Surface features of the valve plug and surface features of the valve body cooperate to provide a bearing by which the valve plug is rotatably supported with respect to the valve body. In addition, each of the valve plug and the valve body include a plurality of annular projections that encircle the plain bearing and axially overlap one another so as to form a labyrinth that surrounds the bearing. The labyrinth forms a fluid path that collects abrasive particles suspended in the fluid passing through the valve, whereby wear of the valve is reduced.

Plug Valve Assembly

A plug valve assembly has a valve body with an inlet and an outlet each defining a fluid passageway in fluid communication with a cavity defined within the valve body. The valve body further has a collar defining a service opening extending upward from the valve body. A plug with a spindle top and a plug body is disposed within the cavity. The plug has an opening that is operable to obstruct the fluid passageway when it is in a closed position and to connect the inlet to the outlet when it is in an open position. The spindle top of the plug has a hexagonal outer profile and a through opening and adaptable to engage with a variety of actuating devices. A threaded cap is removably engaged with the collar of the valve body and is operable to retain the plug within the valve body cavity.

Irrigation network valve

Irrigation valves for channels and for irrigation tanks are of three types. All are activated by a pair of tilting float arms to which a pair of floats are attached. One type is a T-shaped duct with a cylindrical valve disposed at 90 degrees to the part that is connected to the incoming flow. The floats rotate the valve. The second type has the same construction as the first type, thereby giving flow control but additionally has a rise and fall gate in the duct part that is connected to the incoming flow. The gate acts as a stop valve. The third type has a cylindrical duct connectable to the incoming flow but no valve and provides both flow control and stop valve facilities through a rise and fall gate actuated by the tilting of the float arms.
