20220356952 · 2022-11-10 · ·

A valve having a hollow body which extends along a main axis (X), in which at least one secondary body is arranged at one end of the hollow body substantially coaxial to the main axis (X) and has an inner end portion with a collar protruding towards the inner surface of the hollow body is disclosed. The hollow body has at least one annular groove in which a ring is arranged at least partially to prevent the movement of the secondary body towards the end of the hollow body, in which the ring is divided into at least two arcs configured to be inserted individually inside the groove of the hollow body to form the ring.

Valves and methods of access

Valves with a removable central section for access to parts of the valve, the valve securable between corresponding ends of a line, e.g. a flowline, process fluid line, or pipeline; such valves which are ball valves; and methods to access parts of a valve and/or a line interior. This abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract which will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure and is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims, 37 C.F.R. 1.72(b).

BALL VALVE AND SEALING ELEMENT FOR BALL VALVE

A sealing element for a ball valve with a first sealing ring and a second sealing ring whose central axes are parallel, the first sealing ring and the second sealing ring being made of different materials, and the first sealing ring being located on a side of the second sealing ring facing towards a ball in a ball valve in an axial direction, and being used to make contact with a spherical surface of the ball to form a seat The first and second sealing rings are fixed together, and the first sealing ring is a stamped annular polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sheet. Since PTFE has a very low friction coefficient, the friction torque between the first sealing ring and the spherical surface of the ball is relatively small, and the first sealing ring does not wear easily and is not prone to sealing failure. A ball valve using the sealing element is also disclosed.

Ball valves with translating seating assemblies

A valve including a flow control assembly having an adaptive, floating closure member is provided. In one embodiment, a ball valve includes a floating closure member having a shoulder enclosed within a recess of the valve body. The recess is larger than the shoulder of the closure member and allows axial movement of the closure member with respect to the valve body and along a flow path through the valve. Additional valve systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.
