DEVICE FOR SEALING A VALVE
A device for sealing a valve for controlling a coolant of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle is described, which valve is mounted in a cooling system together with a valve housing, wherein the valve housing contains, at the inlet and/or the outlet side, a sealing ring which has an annular wall and a spaced annular lip extending away from the annular wall from a contact point.
Multi-taper plug valve
A high pressure plug valve includes a valve body having an annular inner surface with a taper having a first taper direction and an annular body saver having an outer surface with a taper having a second taper direction opposite the first taper direction. The outer surface of the annular body saver adapted to interface with the annular inner surface of the valve body with a tapered interference fit.
Flexing slot for plug valve insert
An insert adapted for use in a plug valve includes a single-piece body having an inner sidewall adapted to interface with a sidewall of a valve plug. First and second opposing apertures are each defined through the single-piece body for selective alignment with a flow bore of the valve plug. First and second opposing slots are each defined through the single-piece body at an angle to the first and second opposing apertures for allowing the body to flex in the direction of the first and second opposing apertures.
Control valve
A control valve includes a casing that has a port in which an outflow opening is formed, a joint that is joined to an opening end surface of an outflow opening in the port, a rotor that is rotatably accommodated inside the casing, a slide ring that has a slide surface for sliding on an outer circumferential surface of the rotor, a sealing ring that is interposed between an inner circumferential surface of the port and an outer circumferential surface of the slide ring, and a holder that is disposed between the inner circumferential surface of the port and the outer circumferential surface of the slide ring and holds the sealing ring from an outer side in a port axial direction with respect to the sealing ring. The holder is disposed to be separated from at least any of the joint and the port.
Double-piston-effect valve
A double-piston-effect valve includes two valve seats symmetrically arranged in two valve endcaps at two sides, respectively. A piston ring is arranged on a rear of each of the valve seats, an inner O-ring groove is provided in the piston ring along an inner circumferential direction, an outer O-ring groove is arranged in the piston ring along an outer circumferential direction, an O-ring is fitted in each of the inner O-ring groove and the outer O-ring groove, and two semi-circular notches are symmetrically provided in a protruding portion of the piston ring.
Valve seat ring and multi-way valve having valve seat ring
The multi-way valve comprises an upper valve body, a lower valve body and a rotary valve core. A valve seat ring is located in the rotary valve core and comprises a body. A first annular boss is arranged on an outer wall of the body, and a second annular boss is arranged on an inner wall. The upper surfaces of the first annular boss and the second annular boss are respectively flush with the upper surface of the body to form a sealing surface which fits with a sealing surface of the upper valve body in a sealed manner. An annular gap is formed between the lower surface of the first annular boss and the rotary valve core, so that liquid in the chamber and an oil incoming channel respectively acts on the lower surface of the first annular boss or the second annular boss to form a sealing load.
