Duct System with Multiple Flex Duct Sections
A duct system with multiple flex duct sections includes a duct take off, a duct register boot, at least one flexible duct assembly that includes an inlet coupler, an outlet coupler, and a duct section. The inlet coupler and outlet coupler are terminally connected to the duct section completing the flexible duct assembly as the number of duct assemblies determines the length of the duct system. The duct takeoff is mounted to the inlet coupler, and the duct register boot is mounted to the outlet coupler as the duct takeoff is in fluid communication with the duct register boot through the flexible duct assembly. Additionally, an air controlling device can be mounted with respect to three different places, wherein the three different places are in between two couplers, the coupler and the duct takeoff, and the duct register boot and the coupler to improve the efficiency of the duct system.
Inline fluid damper device
An inline fluid damper device comprises a flow-through conduit configured to be placed inside a larger exterior conduit through which a fluid flows. The flow-through conduit is elongated and extending around a center axis. The damper device also comprising an indirect flow conduit coupled with the flow-through conduit. The indirect flow conduit is also configured to be placed inside the larger exterior conduit. The flow-through conduit and the indirect flow conduit are configured to dampen one or more flow fluctuations or pressure fluctuations in the fluid flowing in the larger exterior conduit by dividing the fluid into a first portion that flows along the center axis through the flow-through conduit and a second portion that concurrently flows outside of the flow-through conduit along the center axis and along a different direction.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN AIR INTAKE DUCT
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing an air-intake duct (30) with induction noise and radiated noise attenuation that is intended to be connected to an internal combustion engine. The method comprises the steps of: (a): providing a mould (1) comprising two moulding cavities (2), each cavity (2) having at least one groove (4) adapted for moulding a rib (32) and having at least two half-bores (5) adapted for moulding end sleeves (34-36), (b): providing a core (8) adapted to be positioned between the cavities (2), for moulding an air-intake duct (30), (c): positioning a tubular layer (9) of air-porous material on the core (8), (d): positioning the core (8) with the tubular layer (9) between the moulding cavities (2), (e): injecting a thermoplastic material into the, or each, groove (4) and into each half-bore (5) of each cavity (2), in order to overmould ribs (32) and end sleeves (34-36) onto the tubular layer (9) so as to form a duct (30).

REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC DUCT
A reinforced duct system includes at least a first thermoplastic duct section and a stiffening ring affixed to the first thermoplastic duct section. The stiffening ring includes first and second thermoplastic core rings, an inner reinforcement strip adhered to and spanning adjacent interior surfaces of the first and second core rings, an outer reinforcement strip adhered to and spanning adjacent exterior surface of the first and second core rings, and a flat reinforcement ring interposed between the first and second core rings.
