Pinch clamp and mount

A pinch clamp and mount are provided. The pinch clamp includes a first member and second member including rounded pinch surfaces. The second member is pivotably coupled to the first member at a first end. A threaded shaft is pivotably coupled to a second end of the first member. A second end of the second member includes a seat configured to receive the threaded shaft and a nut thereon. The seat includes protrusions at the second end that prevent the nut from sliding out of the seat. The mount includes a body having a flat bottom surface. An internal wall defines a through hole in the flat bottom surface. Two guide rails on a top surface of the body define a central slot configured to receive the clamp. A pair of keyed slots within the two guide rails are configured to receive a pair of keyed projections on the clamp.

Quick-release Johnston coupling

A plug-in coupling for connecting a first double-walled vacuum-insulated cryogenic line to a second. The plug-in coupling has a coupling plug and a coupling socket. The coupling plug can be plugged into the coupling socket, these being retained in a plugged-together state by fixing means. A guide column is arranged on the coupling plug or the coupling socket. The guide column has arranged on it elastic means which, in the assembled state of the plug-in coupling, are subjected to stressing and which subject the coupling plug and/or coupling socket to an elastic force which strives to release the coupling plug and coupling socket from one another as soon as the fixing means no longer hold the coupling plug and coupling socket together. The elastic energy stored in the elastic means ensures that, in the event of an emergency, the coupling plug and coupling socket are quickly released from one another.

IN-LINE SIGHT GLASS KIT AND ASSEMBLY

V-clamp with more evenly distributed clamping load

A v-clamp is used to join tubular bodies having end flanges in order to form a joint therebetween. Such tubular bodies are employed in heavy-duty and moderate and light-duty applications including, but not limited to, industrial, oil and gas, sewage, agriculture, and automotive applications. The v-clamp can include a band, a closure mechanism, and a set of bearings. The v-clamp may furnish a more evenly and uniformly distributed clamping force around a circumference of the v-clamp and to the tubular body end flanges than previously demonstrated.

Multi-petaled oblique-plane hoop and pipe connector thereof

A multi-petaled oblique-plane hoop and a pipe connector are described. The hoop is divided into two groups, and the hoop petals in each group are connected by means of pins, and the pins are parallel to a connecting pipe shaft. The groups are connected by using bolts, and the bolts are vertical to a pipe shaft. Each hoop petal is in a shape of a partial ring stud, in which an arc-shaped groove is formed. The upper surface and the lower surface of the groove are symmetrical partial inner cone surfaces, and the hoop petals are connected to form a clamping chain.

Arrangement and method for connecting fluid-conducting components, more particularly in the exhaust gas line of a motor vehicle

The invention relates to an arrangement (100) for connecting a first fluid-conducting component (110) to a second fluid-conducting component (120), more particularly in the exhaust gas line of a motor vehicle, having a seal (130), which seals the components (110, 120) at the connecting point, and having a band clamp (140), which encloses the components (110, 120) at the connecting point and attaches the components (110, 120) to each other. According to the invention, the seal (130) is formed with a tab (131), which protrudes at the connecting point after the components (110, 120) have been connected and is visible through a separation joint (141) of the band clamp (140). The invention further relates to a corresponding method for connecting a first fluid-conducting component (110) to a second fluid-conducting component (120).

CLAMPING APPARATUS

A clamping apparatus connecting tube flanges, includes first and second bracing devices. The first bracing device connects first and second mounting devices and has a partially circular shape with a first inner and a first outer wall. The second bracing device connects first and second connecting devices. The first bracing device inner wall has a first recess. The first bracing device outer wall is configured to contact the second bracing device which is configured to contact the first bracing device outer wall to apply substantially radial force on that first outer wall. The first recess shape is configured to substantially convert the radial force applied to the first bracing device outer wall into an axial force inside the first inner wall. The first and second mounting devices each comprise at least two attachment devices connecting the first and second connecting devices of the second bracing device.
