Three-way clamp and connector prefabricated component including clamp
11566734 · 2023-01-31 · ·

A three-way clamp includes a first clamp shell and a second clamp shell capable of being connected to or detached from each other. Each of the first clamp shell and the second clamp shell includes three engaging portions. The engaging portion includes an accommodating cavity. The two clamp shells are respectively provided with an engaging claw and an engaging groove. A connector prefabricated component including the clamp includes a connecting pipe fixed in the clamp body, wherein the accommodating cavity is provided with a sealing component for sleeving pipe opening. During construction, a straight pipe to be connected is inserted into the sealing component. Then the clamp body is tightened, and the sealing component tightly presses on a pipe body of the straight pipe to achieve sealing.

A fitting for an excavating apparatus can include a cylindrical pipe that can include a first metal material. In an example, the fitting can be configured for coupling to a hose. The pipe can include an interior surface and an exterior surface. Optionally, a perimeter of the pipe does not exceed a diameter of a first end of the pipe. The fitting can include a cladding layer (e.g., a second metal material) that can be coupled to the first metal material within the interior surface of the pipe. The cladding layer can include an abrasion-resistant material. The cladding layer can be coupled to the pipe such as with a welding operation. The cladding layer can include one or more ridges. The cladding layer can corrugate the interior surface of the fitting and exterior surfaces of the fitting which can come into contact with abrasive material.

Flow restricting slip joint clamps and methods for use in a nuclear reactor jet pump

Clamps can be secured to a slip joint and limit flow through the same by seating on a diffuser axially regardless of wear and damage in the slip joint. An extension from the clamp seats to the inlet mixer. These extensions can be adjusted from outside the clamp to achieve an individual preload or flow limitation through the slip joint. The extension may be an O-ring or other shape. A biasing drive may connect to and move the extension from an outside surface of the clamp. The biasing drive may include a threaded cap in an outer groove that is linked to a plunger via a spring. Clamps are fabricated of materials that maintain their physical properties when exposed to an operating nuclear reactor environment and may be relatively rigid and resilient metals.

This specification discloses an in-line sight device sealed of a transparent tube surrounded by a tube body having a window. The tube body is attached to at least one flange via an attachment device which avoids any torque on the seal gasket. The flange and tube body are in direct contact with each other and the seal gasket is between the transparent tube and the flange having pressure applied in the same fixed volume and pressure each time the device is assembled.
