Adjustable drain assembly
An adjustable drain assembly is disclosed. The adjustable drain assembly may have a main drain body with a series of springable flanges and extension calibration elements. Other components of the adjustable drain assembly may provide fluid conduits from various drains, such as of a bath tub, and may connect to the main drain body. These other components may be insertable into the springable flanges and may have extension calibration elements interlockable with the extension calibration elements of the main body. A collet may be disposable about the springable flanges and configured to retain the extension calibration elements in fixed interlocking relation. In this manner, the other components may be adjustably positioned in lengthwise relation relative to the main drain body, then secured in position by the fixation of the extension calibration elements in fixed interlocking relation.
Vacuum inlet valve assembly
A vacuum inlet valve assembly has a housing configured to be mounted exterior to a preexisting wall in a structure such that the housing is connected with a conduit and the conduit is exterior to the wall and retains a hose therein, and the hose is adapted to be pulled out from a stored position within the conduit external from the wall to an extracted position, and when in the extracted position, an end cap or hose plug on the hose is releasably connected with a connection assembly in the housing. A portion of the conduit is clear or translucent or transparent so an operator can watch the end cap or hose plug approach the connection assembly.
BACKFLOW PREVENTION ASSEMBLY HAVING A VARIABLE LAY-LENGTH AND ORIENTATION
A backflow prevention assembly is configurable with varying lay-lengths and orientations. The assembly includes coupling assemblies and valve bodies that adjust in length and/or rotation to allow for the varying lay-lengths and orientations of the backflow prevention valves and assemblies with and without certification. A coupling assembly is connected to a backflow prevention valve and includes an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve that is slidingly received within the outer sleeve. The lay-length is adjusted by slidably moving the inner and outer sleeves with respect to one another.
DUAL DUCT FLEXIBLE COUPLING APPARATUS AND METHODS OF USE
A flexible dual duct coupling, comprising: a coupling body having an inner flow passage and an outer flow passage therethrough; a first nut assembly configured for reversible attachment to the coupling body; and, a second nut assembly configured for reversible attachment to the coupling body, wherein the second nut assembly is opposite the first nut assembly.
Hand-securable sprinkler fitting
A coupling for an irrigation system may have a first member and a second member, each of which has threads that engage a threaded fitting of an adjacent component. The first member may have a shank and a flange that has a greater exterior dimension than the shank. The flange may have a first locking extension. The second member may have a bore that receives the shank such that the second member is slidable along the base member between a locked configuration in which rotation of the second member about the centerline induces rotation of the base member about the centerline, and an unlocked configuration, in which the second member is rotatable about the centerline independently of rotation of the base member. The second member may further have a first recess that receives the first locking extension in the locked configuration.
Telescoping pipe coupling
A telescoping pipe coupling comprising a hollow body, a hollow tubular insert slidably disposed within the body, two gasket wells, two end connectors, one end connector coupled to each end of the telescoping pipe coupling, two gripper washer wells, a gasket for sealing the tubular insert with the body, two gaskets for sealing one or more pipe sections to the telescoping pipe coupling, two gasket retaining rings each comprising a shoulder, two gripper washers retained within the two gripper washer wells each comprising an outer periphery, wherein the shoulder of each gasket retaining ring is adjacent to the outer periphery of a gripper washer.
Drain hose assembly and refrigerator including the same
A refrigerator includes: an evaporator housing provided behind a storage and including an evaporator for cooling the storage; a machine room disposed below the storage and provided with a discharge plug connected to the evaporator housing; a defrost tray installed in a lower portion of the machine room to collect defrost water discharged through the discharge plug; and a drain hose assembly connecting the discharge plug and the defrost water tray to allow the defrost water to flow toward the defrost water tray. The drain hose assembly includes a drain cap connected to the discharge plug and limiting introduction of external air into the evaporator housing and a drain hose having one end connected to the drain cap and another end connected to the defrost water tray, and a length of the drain hose assembly is adjustable by joining between the drain cap and the drain hose.
Assembly of a coupling and a stiff tube and method therefore
An assembly of a male coupling part 200 and a stiff tube 100 is disclosed, the stiff tube 100 having an attachment means 110; and the male coupling part 200 requiring a relative axial displacement between the male coupling part 200 and the stiff tube 100 for connecting to a female coupling part 500, the male coupling part 200 comprising an axial through opening 210. The Assembly further comprises an element 300 detachably connected to the male coupling part 200 and slidably attached to the stiff tube 100, the element 300 having an opening 310 allowing relative axial displacement 340 between the male coupling part 200 and the stiff tube 100, and the attachment means 110 being movable within the opening 310. A method for coupling and un-coupling the assembly to a female coupling part is also disclosed.
System, method and apparatus for expansion coupling for pipes
A coupling can include a coupling body having an axis, an axial length, an axial center, axial ends and an inner surface comprising an inner diameter that is substantially constant over an entirety of the axial length. A single shoulder can protrude radially inward relative to the axis from the inner surface, such that the inner surface has no other shoulders. In a version, the single shoulder is not axially aligned with the axial center of the coupling body.
