A system for quick connection between a female end piece provided with a U-shaped locking clip and a male end piece fitted therein, the wall of the female end piece having opposite slits through which the arms of the U-shaped locking clip protrude into the passage of the end piece and the wall of the male end piece having an outer groove lockably receiving the clip arms in a final fitted state of the male piece in the female piece, locked by the clip. Also included is a part forming a removable prestressing element for the clip with housing sites engaging the two free sections in a first resting configuration, and in at least a second prestressed configuration in which the arms are more separated than in the resting configuration but less than during the passage of the maximum outer section of the male end piece.

QUICK ACTION FLUID COUPLER

A fluid coupler includes a socket including a socket body defining a receptacle for receiving a plug. A snap ring is mounted within the receptacle for retaining the plug within the receptacle. The snap ring is moveable between a constricted state in which the snap ring is adapted to retain the plug within the receptacle and an expanded state in which the plug is removeable from the receptacle. A release sleeve is mounted over the socket body. The release sleeve is moveable between a non-actuated position and an actuated position. The release sleeve is configured to move the snap ring from the constricted state to the expanded state when moved from the non-actuated position to the actuated position.

A quick connect coupling includes a male coupling and a female coupling. A stop may be associated with the male coupling and configured to prevent the male coupling from being inserted into a port of the female coupling beyond a predetermined depth. The stop may be axially slidable between a first position and a second position. The first position may be located between a leading edge of the male coupling and the second position. The stop may be biased towards the first position so that the stop substantially resets to the first position.

Rapid coupling

In a rapid coupling, a pipe nipple engages a through hole of a socket. A first annular groove provided on the pipe nipple serves to catch a locking ring provided in the socket, in order to lock the coupled condition. A sleeve is movable on the pipe nipple, the sleeve having an inner projection to be retained by the first annular groove of the pipe nipple in a pre-assembled condition. When the pipe nipple is inserted into the socket, the sleeve abuts the socket and is then moved along the pipe nipple until the inner projection is caught by a second annular groove if the coupling is properly locked. It the pipe nipple is not moved into the socket to such an extent that the locking ring is caught by the first annular groove, the second annular groove remains visible outside the sleeve to indicate the improper coupling condition.

DEVICE FOR CONNECTING A TUBULAR ELEMENT

A coupling device for a tubular element comprises a hollow body having a housing, a cartridge locked in the housing in a first position, the cartridge then protruding from the hollow body, the cartridge having an outer wall and an inner wall delimiting an inner channel, the inner channel having a first end forming an inlet for receiving the tubular element and a second end provided with an obstacle, an annular seal and a fastening ring disposed in the inner channel in order to secure the tubular element in the inner channel in sealed manner. The coupling device comprises an unlocking system configured to allow, when the tubular element exerts a force against the obstacle, the unlocking of the cartridge and its movement to a second position, in which the cartridge is entirely incorporated in the hollow body.

COMPACT AND DEMOUNTABLE FLUID CONNECTION DEVICE

A connection device for connecting a tubular connector to equipment comprises: a connection end fitting formed by a tubular body and a head mounted thereon, the head being provided with an opening leading into the tubular body and comprising a retaining groove; a flexible lock, which has an annular shape and is intended to be partially received in the retaining groove, the lock being provided with lugs extending radially toward the center of the lock, wherein the flexible lock is deformable and the lugs can close on the tubular connector and abut against the collar when the tubular connector is introduced into the connection end fitting; an unlocking ring having a collar for insertion into the connection end fitting, the collar including unlocking elements for interacting with the flexible lock to force the opening thereof when the unlocking ring is rotated.

Push to connect conduit fitting with ferrule

A push to connect fitting includes a body member adapted to receive a conduit end, a conduit comprising a first end that can be axially inserted into the body member and a conduit gripping device attached to an exterior surface of the conduit, and a retainer that retains the conduit in place when said conduit is fully inserted into the body member. Additional embodiments include providing a seal with the fitting that seals the exterior surface of the conduit, an optional load retaining sleeve for the conduit gripping device, and an optional gimbal. The push to connect aspect may be realized in the form of a single action unthreaded mechanical connection.

FLUID CONNECTION UNIT

A unit for connecting a fluid line to a port of a superordinate assembly, comprising a base body comprising a connection piece at one axial end for connection to the fluid line and a receiving portion at another axial end. The unit comprises an insert element comprising a resilient material and at least one radially outwardly projecting protrusion. The insert element defines, in its interior, an axial central connection opening and is separate from and connectable to the base body. The at least one protrusion projects into a corresponding aperture formed in an area of the receiving portion. Each protrusion comprises a blocking flank extending outwardly in a substantially radial direction and facing the axial end of the base body opposite the connection piece. The blocking flank is configured to abut against a respective blocking protrusion on the base body in a receiving portion engaged state of the insert element.

Bulkhead connector assembly

An exemplary bulkhead connector assembly may include a housing that has an inner diameter surface, a first opening and a second opening. The assembly may further have a retainer attached to the housing and one or more feet extending radially inward from the inner diameter surface of the housing. The assembly can also include a collar that has a portion received within the first opening or the second opening. The collar may have an outer surface that cooperates with the feet of the retainer to hold a conduit within the housing.
