VDA CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY WITH VERIFICATION
Provided is a connector assembly for joining a male member and a female connector member together to secure fluid communication in a fluid line system. The connector assembly includes a cover that is pivotally attached to the housing to conceal verification indicia when the male member is not attached to the housing. The cover configured to pivot relative to the housing to reveal the indicia once the male member is attached to the housing to allow a user or scanning device to view the indicia to verify a secure attachment of the connector assembly.
Connector having a guided pilot
A connector and process for coupling a tube and the resulting assembly is disclosed. A receptacle includes a pilot in a mounting position. The pilot including an indicator piece and guide members each located in a respective channel on the receptacle and slidable within the channels from the mounting position to a final position. A retention clip having legs is urged into a spread condition during a transition between the mounting position and the final position wherein in the final position the legs of the retention clip retract to a relaxed condition, the indicator piece becomes visible on the receptacle and the first and second guide members latch the pilot to the receptacle.
Quick connection system and method for implementation
A system for quick connection between a female end piece provided with a U-shaped locking clip and a male end piece fitted therein, the wall of the female end piece having opposite slits through which the arms of the U-shaped locking clip protrude into the passage of the end piece and the wall of the male end piece having an outer groove lockably receiving the clip arms in a final fitted state of the male piece in the female piece, locked by the clip. Also included is a part forming a removable prestressing element for the clip with housing sites engaging the two free sections in a first resting configuration, and in at least a second prestressed configuration in which the arms are more separated than in the resting configuration but less than during the passage of the maximum outer section of the male end piece.
Fluid Connector With Expansion Ring
An expansion ring for a fluid connector including a including a first end, a second end, a radially outward facing surface, and a through-bore, wherein the expansion ring is slidably engaged with the connector body.
Double wedge locking mechanism and method
A double wedge locking mechanism provides an attachment mechanism to a liner system for fluid distribution network.
Quick connector latch verification utilizing a scannable code
This disclosure relates to a quick connector adapted to display a code that verifies that a latch member is engaged to retain an installed pipe to the quick connector. The quick connector comprises a connector body having a receiving portion surrounding an internal passage, the internal passage arranged to receive the pipe therein. A latch member retained on the receiving portion is arranged to be movable between a pipe insertion position and a latched position. In the pipe insertion position, the latch member allows the pipe to be inserted into the internal passage. A code readable by a scanning device becomes readable when the latch member is moved to the latched position verifying that the pipe is installed and latched in the connector body.
Connector
A connector includes: a tube body formed in a tubular shape having a first opening and a second opening at both ends thereof, a first opening side of the tube body being connectable to an end of a first pipe, a second opening side of the tube body being connectable to an end of a second pipe, the tube body allowing a fluid to flow therethrough between the first opening and the second opening; a temperature detection element embedded in a tubular part of the tube body and configured to detect a temperature of the fluid flowing through the tube body; and a terminal electrically connected to the temperature detection element and exposed to outside of the tube body.
Connector
A connector, having a socket part and a plug part being insertable into a socket section of the socket part, wherein the plug part is provided with a retaining element for detachably retaining the plug part in the socket part, the retaining element having a retaining arm with at least one outwardly projecting engaging catch, a free end, and an end secured to the retaining element body and can be spring-elastically moved in the radial direction in relation to the plug part for blocking the engaging catch on a blocking surface or a blocking opening of the socket part and releasing it from same, and a locking device being provided for securing the blocking status of the plug part and socket part and for indicating an incorrect assembly thereof, the locking device cooperating with the retaining element, and being a radially insertable locking element that cooperates with the retaining element in the region of the retaining arm thereof.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a connector body having a hollow channel, and a retainer configured to prevent a pipe inserted into the hollow channel from being removed using a stopper piece. The retainer body lies along the outer peripheral surface of the retainer attachment portion. A bearing allows the retainer body to rotate from a temporary locking position to a main locking position. A detection piece passes through a detection hole and projects into the hollow channel when located in the temporary locked position, so as to be pushed in an axial direction by a bulge of the pipe. An inclined surface of the detection piece inclines with respect to the axial direction such that a pushing force can be converted to a radially outward force. A first energy conversion mechanism serves to convert the energy converted by the inclined surface to the rotational energy in the locking direction.
Tube retainers, tube retainer sets, and tube management systems
Tube retainers, tube retainer sets, and tube management systems comprising blocks with male and female block connectors, and methods of assembling and using the tube retainers, sets, and systems, are disclosed.
